For Father's day two weeks ago my son Russell took me out to the The Glen Afton Line. He also took along a bunch of his re-enacting mates, so we got some interesting photos. I'll post some of those in the near future, but for starters here is Climax 1650 which was the steam locomotive running on the day. Had a bit of a play with the processing - not my usual style. Very pleased with how this set came out!

Saturday night was the Te Awa Light Night in Cambridge. A walk/ride along the river ride with lots of food, entertainment, and a range of of light exhibits. For me its always a good chance to try low or contrasting light level photography. My challenge this time was to get some photos of Embers Entertainment but there was lots more to photograph. It was a little different to usual after a weather postponement, but still a great night! Here's my take on the evening...
