A little re-introduction because there are quite a few new faces here lately 👋
Hi, I’m Lucie, the photographer and creative behind Pictured by Lucie.
Originally from Provence in the South of France, my love for photography started when I borrowed my parents’ camera as a kid. Fast forward a "few" years (and a whole LOT of photos later), I’m now based in Hamilton, Waikato, specialising in food, product, brand, commercial and event photography across New Zealand and beyond. But I also love weddings and portraits (go follow my sister page !)
Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked with magazines, food & drink companies, restaurants, brands, and agencies to create imagery that's polished but also feels real and builds trust. I spent 3.5 years photographing for My Food Bag, which definitely deepened my obsession with making food and products look as delicious as possible! I also learned a lot about food styling and prop styling along the way.
My style is all about honest moments, beautiful light, thoughtful details, and images that feel real.
Lately, I’ve also fallen back in love with film photography 🎞️ I'm now offering film as an add-on for your next sessions!!
