Not every spring day looks like this!

These photos were taken on 4 July 2025, when fresh snow covered Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains.

It was lovely to see so many people out enjoying the scenery, taking photos, and creating memories by the lake.

One of those magical Mackenzie days that won't be forgotten anytime soon. ❤️👌

Every season brings something different, but the beauty never changes.❤️

The Church of the Good Shepherd is one of my favourite places in New Zealand

Every time I drive through Lake Tekapo, I have to stop and take another photo 📸

No matter the season — flowers, snow, blue skies, or cloudy days — this little church always looks beautiful with the lake and mountains behind it.

It’s hard to believe this is already the last month of Autumn here.

This year the season didn’t stay as long as usual… with heavy rain and strong winds arriving early, many leaves disappeared too quickly 🍃🌧️

But even with the shorter season, Fairlie still gave us some truly beautiful moments. Golden trees, quiet roads, soft morning light, and those little autumn scenes that make this small town feel so special 💛

This is the atmosphere of a small town where I live, just as the sun is setting.

…When you look at it, it might give you two different feelings.

📍 The first one : “It’s so quiet… there’s nothing interesting here. Maybe better to go somewhere else.” 🙄

📍 The second one: “It’s so peaceful… I could stay here for a long time.” 😍


…Of course, I’m the second type!! ❤️
