📸 A little life update from behind the camera…

Calving has officially taken over my life at the moment 😂🐄 Between cows calving, calves needing attention, sleep becoming a distant memory and the general chaos that comes with this time of year, there isn't a whole lot of spare time left!

Then, because apparently I didn't have enough on my plate, I'm also juggling my Photography Diploma study 📚📸

So between farming, studying and trying to keep some sort of life happening in between, photography bookings are taking a bit of a back seat for the next couple of months.

But… bookings are now available from November onwards! ❤️

A little sneak peek from my giveaway session with Michelle and her beautiful family. 📸

We only captured part of her session this time around, with the rest of her album to be finished later in the year when the weather warms up and everything is looking a little more lush and colourful. 🌿☀️

But I couldn’t resist sharing this gorgeous moment between these three. The cuddles, the smiles and those little in-between moments are exactly why I love family photography. 🤍

Some photos just mean a little more than others. 🤍

This one is pretty damn special.

I got to photograph my brother and sister-in-law announcing that they’re having a BABY! 🥹🤍

After everything they’ve been through to get to this moment, seeing them standing there with those huge smiles and knowing how incredibly wanted and loved this little baby already is… honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put it into words.

There have been tears, heartbreak, hope, and a whole lot of waiting. And now… there’s a tiny little human on the way. 🥹🍼

Being able to capture this moment for them as their photographer AND as family is something I’ll treasure forever.

Congratulations you two. Your little miracle is already so, so loved. 🤍

And yes… I’m officially the aunty who will be taking approximately 47,000 photos of this baby. 😂📸

Country roads, mountain views, muddy puddles, and a whole lot of love. ✨️

This session was everything I love about family photography—natural moments, genuine connections, and kids being unapologetically themselves.

One day, these little girls won't fit into those dresses. They won't hold Mum and Dad's hands quite so tightly, and muddy puddles might not seem quite so exciting.

That's why I love what I do. Freezing these fleeting moments in time for families to treasure forever. 🤎

My nieces are proof that you can be both delicate and absolutely feral at the same time.
Some aunties take their nieces shopping. I encourage questionable puddle-related decisions and then become the paparazzi documenting the downfall.

One minute they're twirling around like little princesses, the next they're launching themselves into muddy puddles with absolutely no regard for their dresses, their boots, or anyone responsible for the laundry.
Honestly, I fully support this behaviour.

Golden autumn tones, the sweetest cuddles, tiny kisses for baby brother, and so much love in every moment. These are the sessions that remind me why I love capturing families exactly as they are — connected, chaotic, tender, and completely full of love.

A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful maternity session across two stunning locations — the beach and the gardens — with the most perfect weather for both. Soft light, calm skies, and the dreamiest atmosphere made this entire shoot feel so effortless and magical.

From the peaceful beach scenery to the lush autumn gardens, each location added something unique to this album, and this mum-to-be absolutely glowed the entire session. These are the moments I love capturing most — raw, emotional, beautiful memories before a whole new chapter begins. ✨
