What a weekend at OctoberFAST!

Flew down Friday arvo to Circuit Chris Amon to lend a hand with Matt Day Motorsport and Matt Wallace from Phoenix Autosport for Round 1 of the BMW E46 Championship!

An awesome weekend seeing Matt claim his maiden victory, followed by a Dayle ITM 1-2 finish alongside Riley Boswell!

And of course, it would’ve been rude not to take the camera for a wander!

HISTORY MADE IN WHANGĀREI! 🏆

Jack Hawkeswood has done it!

Winner of the Rally of Whangārei and the 2026 New Zealand Rally Championship, Jack has made history alongside his dad Andrew as the first father and son to both win the NZ Rally Championship!

And in a pretty cool twist, Andrew’s 2017 championship-winning car was also back out competing this weekend, this time in the hands of Ben Hunt.

A pretty special weekend for NZ rallying history!

Great to see such a good crowd out supporting the crews and kicking off what should be an epic weekend of rallying! 🔥
