A little hot take — first looks aren’t less special, they’re just different.

One is quiet and intentional, just the two of you.
The other is full of anticipation and shared with everyone you love.

There’s no right or wrong here 🤍

Would you do a first look, or wait for the aisle moment?

One thing couples don’t always realize about golden hour photos…

It’s not just about the light — it’s often one of the only times you get to step away, slow down, and just be together for a moment.

Some of the calmest, most genuine photos happen right here ✨

Did you already know this, or is this something you hadn’t really thought about yet?

The same moment can feel completely different depending on how it’s captured.

Black & white or colour — which would you choose for your wedding photos?

She didn’t think she’d cry in this moment… but as soon as she saw them, everything shifted.

Not the timeline, not the planning — just the realisation that this is it.

These quiet, in-between moments are always some of my favourites to capture 🤍

Are you someone who tears up easily, or do you tend to hold it together until later?

There’s something about a ceremony that feels different to every other part of the day.

It’s the anticipation as guests take their seats, the quiet nerves as they wait, and then suddenly… everything shifts. The walk down the aisle, the way they find each other in the crowd, and the small, steady moments during the vows.

Christina & Brad’s ceremony had all of it—the emotion, the laughter, and that just-married kind of joy at the end 🤍

Some weddings feel like an adventure from beginning to end.

Wai and Matt’s day at Staveley Lodge was one of those — from riverbeds and forest bridges to wide open fields with mountains standing quietly in the distance.

In between the laughter with their bridal party and the celebrations with family and friends, there were these quieter moments too. A ride down a country road together. A pause on a bridge surrounded by trees at the local waterfall track. Standing side by side while curious cows looked on from across the fence.

It’s these little in-between moments that often become the most meaningful. The chance to breathe, take it all in, and simply be together as newlyweds.

A beautiful way to end a beautiful day.

There’s something about a ceremony at Sign of the Takahe—the light, the stone, the way everything feels both grounded and a little bit magical.

Krissy walked down the aisle with a family member by her side, a quiet reminder that weddings are never just about two people, but all the lives and relationships that shape them.

Logan’s reaction said everything. The kind of moment you can’t plan for, only feel.

Held by their people, guided by the lovely Jane Godfrey (), and wrapped in Christchurch sunshine—it was the most honest, emotional “I do.”

The morning of a wedding always holds some of the most meaningful moments.

It’s not just hair and makeup or final touches—it’s the quiet pauses, the deep breaths, and the people who have been part of your story long before this day arrived.

Watching Christina be helped into her dress was one of those moments you could feel. The kind you don’t rush, the kind you don’t forget 🤍

There’s something about the getting ready part of a wedding day that always stays with me.

The laughter echoing through the house, the nervous energy softening into excitement, the little in-between moments—buttoning dresses, fixing cufflinks, and being surrounded by the people who matter most. Even a curious cat making an appearance.

Logan & Krissy’s morning felt like home. Relaxed, real, and full of love before the day unfolded at Sign of the Takahe.

A great bridal party can make a wedding day even more unforgettable.

Wai and Matt were surrounded by the kind of friends who bring the perfect mix of support, laughter, and just a little bit of chaos — exactly what every couple needs on their wedding day.

From exploring the riverbed beneath the trees to celebrating out in the open Canterbury countryside with the iconic Land Rovers, this crew made every moment feel relaxed, joyful, and completely themselves.

These are the people who help hold your nerves steady before the ceremony, celebrate the loudest when you’re announced as newlyweds, and make sure the day is filled with memories you’ll laugh about for years to come.

And yes… sometimes that celebration involves a little champagne spray.
