Les made his mark on many. In my few short hours with him earlier this year, it was easy to see why.
Passionate about many things, with a practical mind and a truly charming conversationalist.
Les was crowned the world’s oldest competitive motorcycle racer by Guinness World Records a few years ago and remained truly passionate about the sport.
Tucked away in his workshop of treasures was his much-loved racing bike - a 1950 Bantam, perfect for a special portrait- and that overflowing treasure trove made the perfect backdrop to tell part of the tale of Les’s very full life.
