A girl and her dahlias!

I met Booker Blooms | Dahlia flowers, tubers & seeds at the start of this year through a mutual friend, and had the pleasure of capturing her in her element just a couple of days before a massive storm hit her dahlias. Talk about timing!

Since then, I’ve also had the pleasure of designing the cartons for her dahlia tubers to be sent out in. Such an honour to be part of another little piece of her business!

Can’t wait to see what magic she grows this year. ✨

While my hard drive is packed full of photos I’ve captured throughout the year, so many never actually see the light of day. Day-to-day life gets busy, and now we’re heading into the busiest season of them all.

So, I’ve decided to make more of an effort to share my work rather than letting it sit hidden away on my laptop where no one gets to see it.

So without further ado, here are a few shots from this year’s Balloons over Waikato!

And saying I’m already stoked for next year is an understatement. 😅

Recently, I got to spend the morning with Jo from Skin Nurture - Te Miro Cambridge in her new location in gorgeous Te Miro. Tucked between blue skies and green valleys, it’s a little corner of peace and quiet where clients can relax and enjoy their treatments.

Couldn’t have asked for better weather or a lovelier model and client to work with.

I left feeling energised and super excited to get these photos edited, so here are the results ✨

“Duke” amongst the cherry blossoms with Meike 🌸

A little spring magic with this absolutely magnificent Clydesdale. And yes, some of these shots were taken while standing in a tree because this gorgeous boy is quite the giant! 😂

There’s something pretty special about capturing these beautiful horses in their element, surrounded by one of the prettiest signs of spring.

It’s cherry blossom season 🌸

Capturing beautiful Sissi Pickford and her horse “Cassie” in between the blossoms on Saturday. Can’t wait to share more photos - but that will have to wait until Xmas as this session was an early Christmas present. The best kind of gift in my opinion 💁🏽‍♀️

🖤🤍🩶 What an amazing weekend capturing all the cool dads, poppas and father figures.

SO much fun editing the photos. First time I’ve done only B&W sessions and I’m absolutely loving it.
Amazing feedback and slightly teary messages all around.
These memories will be treasured for a lifetime and that’s what makes them even more special.
