THANKYOU - What an amazing event last night. My work raised over $6000 for Dementia North, at a gorgeous evening of food and wine at Deloitte New Zealand . Fantastic MCing from Nathan King who kept the whole night rolling.

Dementia touches so many of us, in one way or another we’ve all felt it close to home. To see my art play a part in supporting the people and families living with it is exactly why I do this.

Thank you to The Framing Studio

Thank you to everyone who bid, who came, who made the night what it was!

❤️🙏❤️

RESEARCH DONATION AND A SPECIAL EDITION - My work is being used in a dementia research study at a London care home - and I’m donating four framed artworks to help make it happen

At the world’s first Workshop on Humans’ Response to Flowers at the University of Surrey last month, we heard all about the early stages of this research which will observe the effect of flowers on those living with dementia

To help fund these donations I’m releasing Here & Now as a limited edition of only 30 at 30x30cm for $330 NZD. (Those of you who’ve been around a while will remember the 80cm edition sold out a few years ago)

PLUS every purchase enters you in a draw to win a 60x60cm artwork of your choice from my Floral Portrait series

Don’t miss out!

DON’T MISS THIS - Just been to a stunning exhibition by Claudia Kogachi Claudia Kogachi at Gow Langsford - and so timely after being in Japan a week ago, dodging the sneaky ancient deer in Nara trying to eat my dress. Gorgeous work, and a sell out show too. Only a few days left, so don’t miss it if you can get there!

NATIVE BOUQUET - Thrilled that my work made it into Aotearoa in Bloom by Rachel Clare Rachel Clare and Tryphena Cracknell Tryphena Cracknell (Rongomaiwahine). It’s a beautiful book on our native flowering plants, every flower has a story behind it

What I loved most was learning how much these plants meant to Māori, used for medicine, ceremony, food, everyday life, long before any of us thought to put them in a vase

Out through HarperCollins NZ , and perfect for gifting, or a good excuse to get ahead on Christmas pressies this year

My contribution is a native bouquet, a bit of a conglomeration of every native I could get my hands on from my favourite place, Piha

Grab a copy if you love flowers, plants, or just a beautifully made book with real depth to it

KYOTO - a last blast to cool off at … an oasis of the most incredible blooms some of which I never knew existed … including a blue poppy. Loved my time wandering around this beautiful spot the perfect way to end an epic trip!

KYOTO wanderings - ancient temples, soothing gardens, hidden alleyways, and ancient deer of Nara that bow to you. We loved the quieter pace after frantic Japan. And so great to share with my fam ❤️
