OK mamas, it’s time 🤍

I can guarantee you’re the one behind the camera.
Making sure the memories are captured.
Making sure everyone else is in the frame.

But somehow… you’re not.

This is your little nudge.

Jump in.
Be in the photos with your kids.

My Mother’s Day Mini Sessions are now live.

Short, relaxed sessions in the studio.
You with your kids, exactly as you are right now.

No pressure. No awkward posing.
Just a bit of time to hang out and actually be in the frame.

Dates:
Sunday 3rd of May
Friday 8th of May
Saturday 9th of May

Helensville studio

Spots are limited and they will go.

You’ve got so many photos of your kids… for your memories.

This is you getting in them, for theirs 🤍

It’s my first day in the house on my own since last year.

My mam flew home yesterday after a three month visit with us.

We had the best time.
She got to really see our life here, the kids, the chaos, the routine.
I feel so lucky she got that time with us.

And now it’s quiet.

A bit lonely, if I’m honest.

But also… a little bit of space to think again.

And it got me thinking about mums.

How we’re always the ones taking the photos.
And how rare it is to actually have photos with your kids.

So I’m putting something together.

A small day of Mother’s Day mini sessions in the studio.
Nothing over the top. Just you and your kids, as you are.

The kind of photos they’ll look back on one day and see you in.

If that feels like something you’d love, send me a message 🤍

There's a photo on my wall of Saoirse that I love more than almost any other.

She's maybe seven or eight months old. Mouth wide open. Hands clutched to her own chest. Full, committed, catastrophic meltdown.

It's not a pretty photo. But that face? I saw it a hundred times during that stage. And every time I walk past it now I smile, because it is so completely, undeniably her.

That photo is the whole reason I photograph families the way I do.

I've just written about what I actually mean when I say 'photos that feel like you' and why the imperfect ones are always the ones hit people in the feels.

If you've ever worried your kids won't behave, that you'll look tired, or that the whole thing just won't be worth the stress, this one's for you. 👇

Third time around, it hits different.

You think you know exactly what's coming. The sleepless nights, the newborn haze, the complete upheaval of everything you know right now.

But this newest little one? Already their own person. Already running on their own terms, and they certainly let you know, right from the get go, that they will do what they want, when they want to!!

There's so much more of this super special gallery to come, but these ones couldn't wait another day! A certain little someone is set to make their appearance any minute now. xx

You know that part in every movie
when they’re remembering the good times.

Everything goes warm.
Edges soften.
The details matter less than the feeling.

Laughter in the background.
Close-ups.
Nothing trying too hard.

That’s how I want my photos to feel.
Like you're already in a memory.

The days we’ll talk about later.Worth looking up for.

Stillness is overrated.
Life moves.
So should your photos.

Every year I find myself looking back, noticing patterns I hadn’t quite seen in the moment.

That familiar nervous laugh before session starts.
The “I just want photos of the kids” mums who end up in the frame anyway.
The dads who didn’t think they’d be needed, but absolutely are.
The toddlers who don’t sit still.
The grandparents who forgot how loved they are.
The families who keep coming back.

2025 was full, full of real life, real connection, and people choosing to show up as they are.

I wrote a little round-up to say thank you to everyone who trusted me with their stories this year.
Not a highlight reel. A real look at the people who made this year meaningful.

If you were part of this year with me, thank you truly.
If this feels like your kind of family life, you might see yourself in it too.
