I am that photographer...

The one who runs your session not to the minute, but until I’m genuinely happy with what we’ve created together.

“Just one more photo” could probably be my catchphrase. And honestly, even then, it still never feels like enough.

This morning, I spent sunrise with Shiv and Chitra for their maternity session. We wandered through some of my favourite spots, chased beautiful light, and created the kind of images that make me fall in love with this job all over again.

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 14 years, and I still get nervous before every shoot. Excited too. I don’t think that feeling will ever go away.

I love the people this job brings into my life and the stories they trust me to tell.

Whether it’s a proposal, an elopement, a wedding, a growing family, or a maternity session like this one, I get a real kick out of creating a little piece of history for my clients.

And if I’m honest, I’m just as excited as they are to see the photos.

Of course I couldn’t wait to share this sneak peek for Shiv and Chitra 🤍

Some wedding moments don’t need an audience.

Just Dakota and Reagan, standing beside the lake at 12 Mile Delta, sharing their vows, exchanging rings, and soaking in a moment that was entirely their own.

Before the celebrations, before the hugs, before the pizza and party with their favourite people at Winnie’s, they carved out this little piece of the day just for them.

A reminder that there is no right way to get married. Whether you’re surrounded by 100 guests or it’s just the two of you on a lakeshore, your wedding day should feel like you.

Your day. Your way.

Some shoots I just know will stay with me forever.

Watching Matthew and Casper ask Stella to share their surname during their family photoshoot was one of those moments. ❤️

What started as a beautiful morning documenting their family turned into something even more special. The love, surprise and pure joy on Stella’s face when she realised what was happening is something I’ll never forget.

I may have shed a few tears behind the camera myself. 🥹

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do so much. Not just taking photos, but preserving memories that become part of a family’s story forever. ✨

It’s about how it feels when you’re in the moment.

The photos you love most won’t be the perfectly posed ones - they’ll be the ones where you forgot I was even there 🫶

we planned something just for them.

A quiet moment, high above it all.
Just the two of them, surrounded by mountains -
with nothing else to think about but each other.

No pressure.
No audience.
Just space to be fully present in it.

Marijanna and Teera’s Queenstown elopement ✨

One of those days that just felt easy in the best way - quiet moments, big views, and a whole lot of love.

I managed to fit in a couple of pretty special elopements, a portrait session, and a few proposals before heading away, and this was one I wanted to share a little bit more of.

Now I’m one week into Bali life, with a little more time to slow down, reflect, and soak it all in before I’m back in Queenstown next week.

I’m still here behind the scenes - answering emails, taking bookings, and (for once) actually up to date with editing 🤭

Just ask Kurt & Nadia. 🤍

No rushing between events. No pressure to stick to a tight timeline. Just the two of them, incredible scenery, and plenty of time to create beautiful portraits without having to watch the clock.

By choosing to do their bridal session ahead of the wedding, they get the best of both worlds - stunning images and the freedom to spend their wedding day fully present with the people they love most.

More time celebrating. Less time worrying about the schedule. A win-win if you ask me. ✨
