Vom 9. bis 11. Juni bringt die GreenTech Amsterdam über 12.000 Fachleute und 550 Aussteller im RAI Amsterdam zusammen, um modernste Gartenbautechnologien zu präsentieren. Innovation und Nachhaltigkeit vereinen sich auf der GreenTech Amsterdam. Zu den Schwerpunktthemen gehören KI im Anbau, vertikale Landwirtschaft, erneuerbare Energien und Innovationen im Bereich Pflanzengesundheit. Innovatie en duurzaamheid komen samen op GreenTech Amsterdam. Belangrijke thema's zijn onder andere AI in de teelt, verticale landbouw, hernieuwbare energie en innovaties op het gebied van plantgezondheid. Hoogtepunten zijn de Robot Challenge, innovatieprijzen en expertpanels op vijf podia. De beurshallen zijn gericht op toekomstgerichte oplossingen. Van AI-gestuurde klimaatbeheersingssystemen tot innovaties in verticale landbouw: GreenTech laat zien hoe technologie de landbouw transformeert als reactie op klimaatverandering en de wereldwijde vraag naar voedsel. For the fifth time, the annual “BlowUp” exhibition has transformed The Hague’s public spaces into an open-air gallery, inviting visitors from May 22 to June 21 for a special anniversary edition. At prominent locations in the city centre, the exhibition presents large-scale works by Dutch and international artists. The inflatable artworks appear on building façades, construction sites and public squares, transforming the everyday cityscape into a curated visual experience. The monumental pieces, often several meters high, invite passers-by to linger and engage with the art beyond the traditional museum setting. Running throughout the summer, the exhibition underscores The Hague’s role as a centre for art while offering a striking and democratic approach to presenting art in public spaces.

NIEDERLANDE-DEN HAAG-BLOWUP

Zum fünften Mal verwandelt die jährliche Ausstellung „BlowUp“ die öffentlichen Plätze Den Haags in eine Open-Air-Galerie und lädt Besucher vom 22. Mai bis 21. Juni zu einer besonderen Jubiläumsausgabe ein. An prominenten Orten im Stadtzentrum präsentiert die Ausstellung großformatige Werke niederländischer und internationaler Künstler. Die aufblasbaren Kunstwerke erscheinen an Gebäudefassaden, auf Baustellen und öffentlichen Plätzen und verwandeln das alltägliche Stadtbild in ein kuratiertes visuelles Erlebnis. Die monumentalen, oft mehrere Meter hohen Werke laden Passanten zum Verweilen und zur Auseinandersetzung mit der Kunst jenseits des traditionellen Museumskontexts ein. Die den ganzen Sommer über laufende Ausstellung unterstreicht Den Haags Rolle als Kunstzentrum und bietet gleichzeitig einen eindrucksvollen und demokratischen Ansatz für die Präsentation von Kunst im öffentlichen Raum.

Voor de vijfde keer transformeert de jaarlijkse tentoonstelling "BlowUp" de openbare ruimtes van Den Haag tot een openluchtgalerie. Van 22 mei tot en met 21 juni is de tentoonstelling te zien in een speciale jubileumeditie. Op prominente locaties in het centrum van de stad presenteert de tentoonstelling grootschalige werken van Nederlandse en internationale kunstenaars. De opblaasbare kunstwerken verschijnen op gevels, bouwplaatsen en pleinen en veranderen het alledaagse stadsbeeld in een zorgvuldig samengestelde visuele ervaring. De monumentale werken, vaak metershoog, nodigen voorbijgangers uit om te blijven staan ​​en kunst te beleven buiten de traditionele museumcontext. NETHERLANDS-LEIDEN-TEXTILE RESEARCH CENTRE

The Textile Research Centre (TRC) in Leiden has embarked on a new chapter, moving into a larger and better-equipped building to accommodate its rapidly growing collection and activities. Founded in 1991, the independent institute has spent decades building an internationally significant collection of textiles and garments, now comprising well over 40,000 objects from around the world. As the collection grew, the limitations of its previous premises in the historic city center became increasingly apparent, necessitating a move. Since March 2026, the TRC has been located at Boerhaavelaan 6 and now benefits from improved facilities, including expanded storage areas, exhibition spaces, a library, and dedicated workshop areas. The new building allows the centre to continue its mission of research, education, and outreach in the field of textiles and apparel. With more room for growth, the TRC is positioning itself to remain a key resource for scholars, students, and textile enthusiasts worldwide.
