In this age of social media we tend to lose awareness about what’s happening around us. People are more and more concentrated on the 4.7 inches reality called mobile phone. Even though it gets harder and harder to photograph people without their bended heads and ‘precious‘ held firmly in their hands,
I’ll keep on trying to find them gems, and let my imagination run free. My goal is to break that 4

.7 inches open again by showing the beauty around us. I’d like to believe this will work. Just let me be that naive kid.

645. SLIGHTLY TRANSPARANT

Whenever he feels down or just has to get his s**t together and analyse what he feels, he’s accustomed to wrap himself in a blanket of solitude.

It eases his mind and makes him able to hear and feel only his own thoughts and feelings. No having to deal with other people’s emotions or energy whom are always present for a person like him. An observer of others.

Unintentionally making himself slightly transparant for other and thus less ‘readable’ and a lack of connectivity is continuously present. In other words he’s like a turtle for others. This was his survival mode when he was younger but it now limits him. In a way it constrains the other person to connect with him. So he has to learn to open up more. Be less transparant.

Cause how can you love someone who is invisible?

644. GRANDMA

My grandma had issues. She strongly believed in God. And especially in the fear of God. Like many of her age. Living in fear of something that should enlighten and strengthen you isn’t easy to change. It is passed on from generation to generation.

My mother set herself free of that pressurising believe and build up her own believe. A bit more Buddhist kind of believe. That there is a God in yourself and your own behaviour and I truly thanks her for fighting so hard to achieve that. And passing this believe onto me. Being kind and good for others is now a basic of my believe and is contagious.
