🎶 When I arrived at 07:30, the line was already around the corner — and still growing. Some had been there since 03:30 and I love the passion behind this wait.

Record Store Day isn’t just about vinyl — it’s about people. The early risers, the collectors, the fans chasing a specific sound or memory. Conversations between strangers who suddenly weren’t strangers anymore. Artists performing, signing albums, meeting the people who’ve been waiting for them.

Faces full of anticipation, joy, and connection. A big team holding the day together with genuine smiles. 🙏🏻

Happy to be part of this colourful day —
where music brings everyone a little closer.

Sinterklaas-marathon 2025 ✨

From 11 November to 5 December (Sint’s birthday), we wrapped up our first magical Sinterklaas season with Ada — boats, horses, Piets, theatre shows, school visits, carrots in shoes, drawings and… endless pepernoten. 🍪✨

Ada this year: shy when she sees Sint 👀 but VERY excited about pepernoten 😄🍪

We baked pepernoten, dressed up as Piet, watched him arrive by boat, and several times he surprised us at the door with presents, chocolate letters and treats… 🎁🍫

🌸✨ Pink October in Amsterdam

Throughout this month, I’ve been walking through different corners of Amsterdam — from to and .winkelcentrum — capturing the people and places turning pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It all started with ribbon-cutting moments and smiles full of hope. I met so many inspiring people who dedicate their time and energy to raise awareness and collect donations for , supporting important cancer research.

From local shops to neighborhoods, so many people joined in — showing how powerful community can be when it comes together for something that matters.

Also on Friday, Sheila, the street manager of Haarlemmerbuurt spent the night in a shop window on Haarlemmerstraat 100— all to raise funds for research. I was there to capture it and to feel the strength and warmth of this city in pink. 🤗

Oh, and did I mention — I also designed the posters for donations and the participant signs you see in shop windows? 💗 Feeling proud to be part of this meaningful movement.

A bakehouse I visited for portraits ✨🥐 At Salvo in Amsterdam, it all starts with the eyes— every pastry is a visual delight. I always feel like my eyes need to be nurtured first… then my stomach follows. So here everything tastes as good as it looks.
