I couldn’t roll up this bad boy without taking a few headshots with it!
But honestly…the best way for me to start feeling icky about myself is to have someone start taking photos of me. I don’t like the way one of my shoulders is higher than the other. I don’t like the way my shoulders are rounded forward, I don’t like the way I look stupid with my mouth moving—do I really look like that out in the wild? If I were to get really honest, I would say I hate how my H cups make every outfit look too big and too inappropriate at the same time. How I have to consider thick straps or sagging, and strapless is definitely out of the question. (For this look, we hiked and clicked, hiked and clicked.) I’d say I need to loose weight first. I should work my hips out more so they’re larger than my shoulders. Practice smiling in the mirror more. Slide my glasses down to hide the bump on my nose—where did this stupid thing even come from, neither of my parents have it?? Do I look like this all the time? How is anyone friends with me, I look absolutely insane??
All this to say—if you are hesitant to step in front of the camera, so am I. I get it, I really do.
That’s why I pose you from head to toe, why I give you natural movements to follow, why I help you pick out your outfits and hold your hand the whole way. Because, been there, overthought that a million times.
