Late Afternoon Street Photo Challenge in Bologna..
Fishing, hunting, whatever you name it, decisions on the street have to be taken quickly and decisively in order to catch that one moment, that look, that jump.
Some steps:
⭐️ spot your subject from a distance
⭐️ know the direction of light
⭐️ decide on the background
⭐️ move closer & move around
⭐️ be nice

Late Afternoon Light Challenge in Bologna!

In the days leading up to my workshop, I’m giving myself a challenge: photographing in the last hours of daylight.

Reading the light, anticipating and predicting movement, following subjects (not in a creepy way). Sometimes standing still, sometimes running.

The late afternoon is one of the most rewarding times to photograph, if you know how to ‘read’ it.
