Tami & Chethi - couple photo session from an intimate gathering to celebrate these two.

It was a pleasure getting more mileage from the Sony A7V (I think this was the 10th event I shot with this) and a very minimal one light setup throughout - just the one flash on a monopod and getting creative.

For the past 1.5 years I've also been loving the modeling light on the V1, adding in a few other continous light sources as well, a change from when we used to lug 5 strobes to each wedding.

Your wedding photos should *not* be boring. They should be a testament to your love and that you were there.
They should take you back to that moment and remind you of everything you felt on that day.

I see couples fall into the trap of settling for less, and my advice is don't. Your future self will thank you for memorialising your union and getting the best people to do it.

Forced myself to pick 10 favourites of how I'd remember this wedding and let me tell you, it wasn't easy.

Pradeepani knew exactly what she wanted from her wedding photography and I'm thankful we were able to bring that vision to life.

There's nothing better as a photographer than to shoot for a couple in love, unafraid to be themselves, not held hostage by 'trends' that inundate us in modern times, being able to be present and in the moment, trusting us to do what we're best at.
