I love travelling and spending time in the wild, I personally like clicking kids and people. I also do assignments for product / events on request. If I have to say something other than recognitions, it would be people and legends I came across in this beautiful journey. Habitat frames are personal favourites for me… it doesn’t just talk about the species but their home and the importance of safeguarding them for the future..

Here is a threatened species, The Indian greater one-horned rhinoceros by it’s habitat.

When there’s not much of choice, hope is the only thing you had hold on tight….for a better future !

Using a zoom lens on safaris gives the flexibility to achieve some habitat frames !
Even if you have a prime lens, a kit lens or a 70-200 kind of lens is highly recommended for habitat frames.

This was shot at 200mm using the 200-600mm lens on a A7R iii body.

The first thing we look for after a sighting a tiger is the eye contact !
And when it happens, all your reflexes counts to make the best out of it..

We spent more than three hours tracking this guy, and he looked at us straight for less than a second !

Moods of monsoon…
habitat frame of a Brahminy kite by rain.

We photographers often ignore this raptor, being a commoner… but the mood on that day with a beautiful drizzle and the contrast by the background made me to stop for a moment and make this frame.

A good subject is a great catch, but some compositions gives a ‘close to heart’ feel..

A family walk by the wild !

While this may look like an incidental shot… I changed by position and angle quite a lot of times and waited for long, to get the cute calf in position I wanted.

Quality and colour enhancements can be done in post production, but framing and freezing the moment has to happen on-field on-time… you don’t get a second chance !

Striped beauty - the little tiger !

When I first saw this in ‘s post, I thought it’s an exclusive species of frog, later understood that it’s the juvenile of ‘Anaimalai flying frog’ AKA ‘False Malabar gliding frog’. The strips will disappear when they grow up..
I am getting fantasised with the little world, using the 90mm macro on field was a different kind of an experience. A field review video of this lens is under making..
