A prime example of why I have so much respect for the photographers back in the day that captured action photos and didn't have the modern day focusing system that we have now.
Like the spectator in the photo I was watching the leading pack when something caught my attention in my peripheral vision so I swung the camera round although the camera thought Mr Starter and his mini me was the focus point which personally I'm glad it did as it shows a different aspect of the crash, another press of the AF-ON button and the camera changes what the focus point is and all this in a very short amount of time.

It's was definitely a spectacular ride for all drivers involved.
I held back from posting photos as I wasn't too sure on Dale's condition as the colour of his face after existing the car was quite concerning something I've seen many times at Rtc's over the years.
I'm not sure if it was Dale's dad or just someone from his crew that I spoke to but whoever it was said that Dale was fine but understandable shaken up
