🐰🥕 Celebrating one year of you.. 🥕🐰
It honestly feels like only yesterday I was photographing this sweet little boy as a newborn, and now here he is celebrating his first birthday with the most adorable Peter Rabbit cake smash! 💙

Watching little ones grow through their first year is one of the greatest privileges of my job. From those tiny newborn cuddles to milestone sessions and finally their first birthday celebration, being invited back to capture these precious chapters means so much to me.

A huge thank you to this wonderful family for trusting me to document another year of memories. Seeing familiar faces return again and again is something I’ll never take for granted. ❤️

Everyone talks about the preparation for a baby arriving, what things they want in the nursery, the clothes, the pram, the gadgets. Very few talk about what will matter years from now, they have out grown the tiny clothes, the nursery has changed, the pram or car seat is gone or different and the gadgets are not needed. But the photographs? They live on, the feeling you had in those early days holding the small miracle you created, the tiny hands & toes. They become more valuable with every passing year..

These peaceful moments are my favourite, I could look at a sleeping baby in this comfy pose all day 💤 just so content. 😌 Sessions are baby led, sometimes they say yes to everything and sometimes they dont and thats fine. I often get asked “why is the session so long?” And then when families see all involved they completely understand, its slow & patient, a pose like this could take 10-15 mins to get just right with micro-movements so baby stays comfy and sleeping. I never rush them and if they dont settle into it, I move on. These are the precious days to absorb every little wrinkle, fluffy little ears and scruchy faces, its the one session you will never regret booking. Get in touch to book in ❤️
