There is something incredibly special about watching a dad hold his newborn baby. 🤍
Those big hands suddenly look so gentle.
That tiny baby fits perfectly against his chest.
And in that moment, everything else disappears.
These are the photographs that become more valuable with every passing year.
Because one day, that tiny newborn will be much bigger.
And these pictures will show them exactly how loved they were from the very beginning.
At MM Photography in Drogheda, I always encourage dads to step into the frame.
You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
I will guide you through everything and keep the moments natural, relaxed and full of connection.
A simple kiss on the head.

These are the details parents think they will always remember.
But newborn days pass incredibly quickly.
A professional newborn session gives you something tangible to keep from this fleeting stage.
At MM Photography in Drogheda, we create soft, timeless newborn portraits that keep the focus exactly where it belongs — on your baby.
If you are expecting, the best time to reserve your newborn photography session is during pregnancy.
Your due date simply holds your place in our diary.

These photographs become incredibly special because they capture the very beginning of a lifelong relationship.
And you don’t need your older child to “perform” perfectly.
We work gently.
We keep things relaxed.
And we allow genuine moments to happen naturally.
If you already have children, I strongly recommend including sibling photographs in your newborn session.
You may end up loving them even more than the posed baby portraits.
Expecting another baby?

Sometimes the simplest newborn photographs become the most precious.
No elaborate backdrop.
No busy colours.
Just your baby.
Soft skin.
Tiny hands.
Beautiful natural expressions.
Our white newborn setups are designed to create photographs that will still look beautiful hanging on your wall 20 years from now.
Clean.
Soft.
Timeless.
And most importantly — completely focused on your little one.
If you love simple, elegant newborn photography, this style may be perfect for you.
