Thanks to Wedwar for organising these competitions and constantly providing support and education to the wedding photography community. Thanks to all the judges for their knowledge, advice and skill in helping the contestants and help raising the standards of the wedding photography industry.

Congrats to Naomi & Jonny on an amazing wedding day on 2nd October in the stunning surroundings of Ferrycarrig on the banks of the river slaney in Wexford. The sunny south east let us down weather wise as the rain only relented for a few short hours in the afternoon but the wind swept down the river valley creating some ‘hair raising’ moments 🤣🤣 throughout the day . This was a first for me when the extremely talented best man, David, sang the bridal entrance to the ceremony with a song he both wrote and sung. For good measure his band got the night rolling with first dance and ad the guests rocking on the dance floor for the next hour before the equally talented slipstream band took over. Naomi & Jonny- what an epic day, thank you for having me be a small part in such an incredible day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.

Thrilled to be named Wedwar International Wedding photographer of the month for August 2026 after winning 5 awards in their contest 77 in August. Congrats to Naomi & Cormac
on a very special day on 24th Sept at the stunning
. The wild Atlantic lived up to its
reputation but it not deter Naomi having her first look
with Cormac before the ceremony on the breathtaking
coastline at Spanish Point. I must give a huge
shoutout to Ania the make up artist and Martina the
hair stylist who insisted on staying around so they
could do any touch ups required after the first look
before the ceremony 👏👏👏 (the locals know the damage that Atlantic wind can do!!!). To Naomi & Cormac I think anyone that witnessed your ceremony on
Thursday know you are soulmates and are destined to
be together. Thank you for asking me to be a be part of
your ‘Special Day’ ❤️❤️ . Also a huge shoutout to
management and staff of Armada hotel for being so
helpful on the lead up and on the day itself.

Congrats to Judy & Ryan on an epic wedding day at the stunning Langton’s Hotel
Kilkenny on Friday 11th September after an amazing ceremony in Kilkenny Castle. What a wonderful occasion for this beautiful couple with a wonderfully supportive families and friends. The day
was just perfect, everything fell into place - weather-stunning locations- wonderful people. There was such an outpouring of love and support towards Judy &
Ryan from everyone in attendance, wishing you both (and Frankie the dog) a lifetime of joy and happiness together ❤️

Delighted to have won an award in the recent Wedisson 137 collection competition. Thank you to my wonderful couple, and to Wedisson for arranging these competitions and the wonderful judges for giving their time and expertise in selecting the award winning images. This bride had a wonderful sense of humour and requested this photo saying 'can I get a photo with my Dad's 'other girls' !!!
Thrilled that this is my 54th Wedding photography winning image in all competitions since the start of 2026, huge thanks to all the bride & Groom's for trusting me to document their "Special Day'. It is such a privilege.

Delighted to win 3 awards in Wedwar International photography competition No.77. I always ask my couples if they have any ideas for their special day or have any hobbies I can incorporate into the day. For the first winning photo the Bride was a superb rugby player and was involved in the game for over 20 years so when it came to the group of friends photos, we brought out a rugby ball and suddenly the competitive nature came and lots of laughs as we had a boys v girls lineout. I think images like this will have more meaning to the couple than just having a day filled with pretty backgrounds, I always try and provide a combination of both.

Thanks to all my fabulous couples for trusting me to document their 'Special Day' and to Wedwar for organising these competitions and helping to raise the standard within the wedding photography industry and to all the judges for giving up their time and their expertise to help us all improve our craft.
