Some of you were asking to see my latest panel with statement of intent, for which I was awarded Associate of The Royal Photographic Society in Applied & Portraiture Photography.
The panel was a print submission printed on the stunning PermaJet FB Matt 285 Baryta paper, which was the perfect paper to present my architecture images in monochrome.
A valuable learning experience and another way for me to further express my great love for architecture.
Statement of Intent
"I am a commercial photographer specialising in commercial architectural photography.
I have always been drawn to architecture. Experiencing and interpreting the lines, shapes and the concrete-ness of structures within this genre gives me the greatest joy.
My passion for these very features is highlighted in monochrome in my personal work and this also allows me to step away from requirement for colour in commercial application. I like keeping it simple and will steer towards the detail rather than wider views though some are a requirement for commercial portfolio.
Merging my understanding and love of architecture with my individual style showcases what I can do for a client, while allowing me to express my vision, and allows me to connect and merge with their vision to ultimately create a portfolio of work that is both visually and commercially appealing."
