Who doesnt love a sunset shot at a wedding?!
After the cake cutting and first dance, i was aware it was starting to get a little later in the day. Id already checked what time the sun set was due, and I kept popping out to see what the sky looked like.
I have to say, I wasnt super impressed. I thought it was going to be one of those days. But I headed over to the little tracktor and played with a few settings on my camera. Out of nowhere, I managed to drag colours out of the sky that werent visible to the naked eye. I ran back inside to get the bride and groom, as I knew time was now against us.
Id seen both the tracktor and the pond at the start of the day and had already planned to use them for the sunset photos.
The pond was super still and gave off an amazing reflection, and it caught the colours in the sky perfectly.
Having the little tracktor at the front of the venue, right where the sunset is visible is a great little added extra from the venue. It didnt take long untill I was set up, and super simple to do. All I needed was a spare pair of hands to point the flash at them. Very glad I didnt give in on the sunset, or the couple wouldnt have had these photos at all.
