Hi, Mama (or Mama-To-Be soon!)💖 Would you like amazing photos to celebrate your pregnancy or showcasing your children's true personalities, but without awkward poses or being told to smile at the camera?

So, when did you last have the whole family in a photo?

I mean ALL 3 or 4 generations. Grandkids, parents, grandparents, maybe even great grandparents?

Maybe it was a wedding.
Maybe it was years ago, and since then more grandchildren have arrived.

Life gets busy, people are scattered, and somehow it never quite happens... until someone finally says right: let's just do it.

Maybe your mum's celebrating her 60th.
Maybe this is the year your family's big get together happens right here in beautiful Worcestershire.
Maybe you're renting a holiday cottage with beautiful grounds and thinking, why not while we're all here?

Whatever the reason, I'd love to be the one behind the camera for it:)

I've photographed families of 13, 15, even 18 people, and I know exactly how to lead a session like this so nobody's standing around awkwardly, the kids still have energy and smiles for the portraits, and the adults aren't red faced and sweaty before we've even finished. There's an order to it, and I've got it down. Expect the big "everyone together" shot, individual family portraits, tickle fights, grandad being chased through a field and all sorts of games. The real, joyful chaos that makes your family your family.

Before the day, I'll also guide you through outfits(very important!), what to bring, and how to prep the kids, so everyone fells their best and arrives relaxed, excited and ready. 💛

If you've been thinking about getting your whole family together, for a birthday, a reunion, or just because it's been far too long, this is your sign. Another heatwave is here, LET'S DO IT!

Get in touch via my website or DM me. Let's start planning your family's session.

Link to my extended family sessions in the comments.

Can you guess what time of day these photos were taken?

Sorry for the radio silence… we've been in paradise!

We went to Thailand on a pre-school family adventure. We found flights for just £360 per person. Something that won't be repeated for another 18 years or so! 😂

We had the best time. I've been a couple of times before, but not for many years and I'd never stayed somewhere with air conditioning or a pool, so that felt very luxurious. It's incredible what you can do in SE Asia on a budget of £35 a night or less! It felt like no time had passed at all. One never forgets the smell, the sticky air, the hustle of Bangkok, or the people. Or the food... the food is just the BEST there. Even if you don't like it spicy. My boy lived on omelettes, rice with prawns, and fruit, while my husband and I had feasts of a lifetime. Thai food is simply my favourite.

We visited Bangkok, the Krabi area, and Koh Phangan island (a remote, sleepy part of it!). Aside from spending countless hours in the sea and the pool, we rented a scooter and explored nearby villages and beaches, did jungle walks, kayaked through the mangroves, hopped between islands on longtail boats, rode tuk-tuks, snorkelled, drank coconuts, built sandcastles, collected crabs and shells, swung on endless swings under the palm trees and took silly selfies. What a wonderful, DEEPLY relaxing holiday. I haven't felt this relaxed in years. 😊

And easy too! Because we'd both been before, although a long time ago and not together, we didn't need to figure out how everything works. We just knew. It felt like we'd been there just last year, which meant we could simply go with the flow, enjoy every moment, and feel really relaxed. Thai people are lovely and absolutely adore children, the country is safe, and it's so easy to get around. I'd highly recommend it as a family holiday, especially with a 4-year-old. They are so fun and curious, wee anywhere and they tell you when they need it (daiper free life is good), don't need naps, can be reasoned with, and they are stronger and more resilient than one can imagine. My boy just sat on a scooter even in the rain in his face, went to sleep as late as us and went along with all our ideas. And pushchair is no longer needed which is a real bonus!

Have you ever been to Thailand with your child yet?

P.S. Have you seen the forecast for the next 7 days??! I'm booked for sunsets on Saturday and Sunday, but Monday and Tuesday are still available. Meet me after dinner at 8pm for that magnificent golden light!

Bluebell season is over for another year. 💜

Personally, I visited 4 different bluebell woods this spring. For the first time, I went to see them on the slopes of the Malvern Hills basking in the early morning light and it was so stunning I nearly cried. I visited my favourite wood 7 times and discovered new areas where almost nobody walks. I went there alone before shoots, with various friends, with my son, and with my husband at 7:30am on one memorable Saturday.

Today I'm sharing a wonderful couple Marie and Jamie, expecting their first baby very soon. They travelled 1.5 hours to be photographed by me, and it turned out to be the most beautiful bluebell wood they had ever seen. It was a quiet mid-week day, warm and sunny, and it felt like we had the woods entirely to ourselves. They were fab to work with and were truly amazed by the beauty of it all. Marie also got to wear my new maternity robe and we were able to show off her bump beautifully in it, and it suited her perfectly as she already loves a boho style.🫄

I did 5 photoshoots in 2 different bluebell woods this year: 2 family sessions and 3 maternity. I'm so grateful for everyone who chose me, came to my favourite wood, and appreciated and respected nature. It's a magical place that nobody I take there has ever visited before, and when they step inside they say "wow", "how beautiful", "thank you for bringing us here."

Because that's part of the experience with me! Being taken somewhere truly special that you may never have found on your own 💜.

I now have 16 spots for outdoor photoshoots in Worcestershire. Tell me your wishes and I'll find the perfect place to photograph you. I'm just a DM away.

I need to talk about something that makes my blood boil.

Photographers advertising sessions using AI generated images.
2 examples.

Today I saw an ad for sunflower minis. Girl with blond hair and blue eyes + perfect lighting + perfect background + perfect flower...No other photos on sm or website. Completely different style to all other photos.

Last year I saw confetti minis promoted with a sunset image that simply couldn’t have been taken at that location at that time because the field only opened for sunset sessions for the first time later that same year. The flowers also looked more like lupins...

This is misleading and wrong.
It's showing something that does NOT exist.
It's showing something which does NOT reflect actual work, locations or conditions.

And clients don’t always know that...

They book based on what they see. They imagine that exact field, that exact light, that exact experience. And then reality arrives… and it cannot match something that was never real to begin with.

I find it so uncomfortable that this is happening in a space that is supposed to be built on TRUST.

Photography is personal. Especially family, maternity, newborn work. People are trusting us with something deeply meaningful. Their memories, their children, their lives in this moment. And that trust starts long before the camera comes out. It starts with honesty in what we, as photographers, show.

I will never use AI generated images to advertise my work. Not now, not ever.

If I show you bluebells, it’s because I’ve stood in that exact woodland at the right time of year. If I show you sunset light, it’s because I know where it happens and I’ve planned for it, worked with it, and waited for it.

Because that is what you are paying for. Not fantasy or generated perfection. You are paying for experience, honesty, and the ability to actually deliver what is promised.

We need to be honest about what we’re showing because in this industry, trust isn’t a bonus. It’s the FOUNDATION.

We had pastries, so we survived… phew! 😄
It was by far the longest, most creative, and definitely the most complex photoshoot I’ve done so far. And yes it was awesome! And physically demanding.

It was a branding shoot for Charly from , who creates the most beautiful jewellery using breastmilk, along with other very special keepsakes. Pieces that hold so much meaning for mums. It’s such a shame I only found out about her last year as I have no breastmilk left in the freezer.

She needed a full set of images and videos. Products, photos of herself, her working with the pieces, and mothers wearing her jewellery... the most important. The kind of images that tell a story and truly represent her brand. She never had them done before...!

So we planned, brainstormed, and left each other tons of voice notes...

We found two wonderful models and three children.
We found the perfect house.
We thought about light, outfits, details and how everything would come together.

And it did!

And then the day came… it was exciting and busy, full of smiles, connection, and so much love. We worked so well as a team. Everything flowed. And the photos turned out exactly as we imagined… or maybe even better 😉.

Charly now has a full gallery of images and videos ready for her new website and social media. She’s so ready to take her business to the next level and I'm very much excited for her.

It hit me later just how amazing it feels to be part of someone else’s business journey like this. To not just take photos, but to help shape how someone shows up, how their work is seen, how their story is told...

And how lovely it is to work with another mum and business owner. We have so much in common although she definitely outnumbers me when it comes to children… and we’ll just skip the age comparison altogether 😂.

I loved the creative side of this shoot… and I have a feeling I’d love to do more of this 😎.

3+ years into my business and I’m still trying new things and experimenting. March was definitely the month for that and this shoot you see here was something extra special 🥰.

It was a birthday session for Betty, who’s from Ivory Coast and spending a year here in Worcester. She called me to chat about her vision... she mentioned nature, flowers, what she was planning to wear… and I knew just the perfect place 😎.

It was mid March and the weather was perfect. Her dress, accessories and make-up contrasted so well with the flowers I think I said “wow” about a hundred times during the shoot!

She was so fun, so easy going and such a joy to photograph. I enjoyed myself so much it almost felt like SHE was doing me a favour by letting me photograph her that day 😉.

Don’t get me wron, I adore children and families, and that’s not changing! But working with just a woman felt very special. I’ve only done a handful of sessions like this before, and I'd love to do more.

You don’t need a special occasion to do this… but if you have one, even better 💛 I’m just a DM away, and I know a few gorgeous spots with flowers blooming right now and over the next few weeks.

So you’re pregnant and would like photos taken outside. You found my website and you like what you saw. What now?

Maybe you know what you want but don't know where? For example you dream of a sunset shoot but don't know the best place for it, or you want a picnic style shoot somewhere open but away from popular areas? Or you want a colourful autumnal wood and wear one particular dress you saw on my site?

Or... you’re not quite sure! You just know you want something beautiful. And you like my style of photography 💛.

Get in touch!

I'll ask you what you're drawn to and what is important to you. Do you like woods or meadows. Are flowers important to you... Do you want something away from popular spots. Have you ever experienced a sunset on the hills. Maybe you're giving birth before Christmas and would love some autumnal colours...

I'll also ask when you're due. There really is a sweet spot for maternity photos. I usually recommend around 28 -33 weeks when your bump is beautifully visible, but you’re still feeling comfortable, mobile, and full of energy. It is common to do a session later, it depends when you get in touch or what you really want as your background.

Based on your answers, I’ll recommend a few locations that fit your vision. I’ll send you photos (and sometimes even full galleries), so you can really picture yourself there. Then we choose together.

We’ll also talk about what you’ll wear, the best time of day, and all those little details that make the whole experience feel easy and memorable.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. That’s my job 😉.

I’ve spent the last few years exploring Worcestershire (a lot), and I now have 15+ beautiful locations for maternity sessions, all slightly different, all special in their own way. I’ve also had a maternity photoshoot myself, and as a mum to a toddler, I really do understand how this feels. I've got you 💛.

If you’re expecting and thinking about a maternity session, just DM me. I’ll help you plan everything and find the perfect spot for your photos.

It’s no longer quiet. It’s no longer just sitting and looking at your sleepy newborn for a few peaceful minutes. It’s no longer lying down with your eyes closed and your baby on your chest while everything feels still and calm... because now there’s an older sibling there too!

And they have opinions! They’re excited, loud, curious, sometimes shy, sometimes full of energy. They want to be involved… or not involved at all. They run in and out. They ask for snacks, bring to show me their fave toys. Sometimes decide they don’t want to wear trousers anymore...

So if you’re thinking about a newborn session but wondering how it will work with a toddler… this is exactly it.

Not quiet
Not controlled
And not perfectly planned 😉

But full of movement, noise, love, and connection happening all at once!

Don’t wait for it to settle because it won’t (and it doesn’t need to). I’m an experienced photographer who knows how to work with real families. I'm a mum too, so I get it. My son is 4 now and this boy in the photos reminds me of him. I’ll guide you gently through it all, and make it work exactly as you are. You're in great hands.

And one day, you’ll be so glad you didn’t wait 💛.

For the first time ever, my summer calendar is already filling up! And not just with morning sessions, but sunset sessions too!

I already have 4 photoshoots booked in June and 3 in August, and I’ll also be away for five weeks over the summer. So if you’ve been thinking about an outdoor family photoshoot this year, now is the time to get in touch. Also, If I photographed you when your baby was born in 2024 and 2025, this is the year to use your discount voucher before it expires 😉. Maybe this is your sign to have an outdoor summer photoshoot?

This little girl was 3 years old when she climbed this hill with her parents, by the way, so the chances are you can do it too. You can always carry them, of course! It’s only about a 15-minute walk up, and the parking is free (I don't reveal exact locations until you have booked 😉).

If you’re willing to adjust your child’s routine for the day and maybe even let them nap, meet me after dinner and I’ll take you to this stunning sunset spot in my favourite place in Worcestershire 😎 These photos were taken just before sunset, so we’d meet around 7/7:30 PM.

If you have a strict routine or expect your children to be cranky and unhappy after dinner, we can choose a beautiful morning location instead. I now have 16 locations across Worcestershire where I photograph families, and 3 new ones on the horizon. We’ll find the perfect spot, season and time to suit your family 💛.

Thinking about a session this year? Send me a message and let’s start planning 💛
