Paul is the man, working under the name "Shemp" for many years as a homage to his love of B Movies (ask him, he will tell you all about it). He first picked up a camera at the tender age of 20, learning how to develop film and all the tricks of the trade before moving in to the digital age of photography and re-learning everything. Over the past 14 years he has never stopped learning, experimentin

g and shooting all kinds of events and places all over the world.

Paul has travelled around Canada and America to the west and as far east as India, as well as a few counties in between. He has always had a camera by his side.

Having shot everything from weddings and new borns to landscapes and festivals no challenge is too daunting.

He has also worked commercially for many years as a photographer and image editor giving him full confidence to take on any challenge.

You’re not supposed to have favourite venues… but The Shack is right up there. 🖤

It’s the people. The vibe. The food. The space. The beautiful, brilliant chaos that somehow makes every moment feel even more special.

And Fern & Michael embraced every bit of it — throwing themselves into the madness, the memories and, of course, the confetti cannons. 💥🎉

Every time I leave, I take a little piece of the magic with me… and fall in love with The Shack all over again. 📸🔥

HOLLY AND SEAN…

When little weddings bring BIG emotions. 🖤

Because you don’t need hundreds of guests, a huge venue or a day packed with traditions to make a wedding unforgettable.

Just two people, the people who matter most, and a whole lot of love.

The tears. The laughs. The chaos. The quiet little moments in between.

Small wedding. Massive feelings. ❤️

THE MAIN EVENT… that’s what these to love birds named their big day and WHY THE HELL NOT!

Forget perfect weather.

Give me dark skies.
Give me smoke.
Give me an old car with attitude.
Give me two women who couldn’t care less if it rains.

That’s where the magic lives.

No fake smiles.
No carefully curated moments.
Just loud laughs, soaked dresses, dirty boots, coloured smoke and a love story that hit harder than the weather ever could.

This wasn’t just a wedding.
It was a damn adventure.

Life’s been full, the camera’s been busy, and social media has definitely taken a back seat for a little while.

I’ve been photographing incredible weddings, spending time with my family, and, if I’m honest, just enjoying being a bit more present away from my phone.

Sorry I’ve been so quiet on here. Thanks for sticking around.

I’ve got loads of beautiful weddings, amazing couples, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few exciting things to share over the coming weeks, so consider this your warning… the feed is waking up again.

Right then… let’s get back to it.

First up, this absolute belter of a day at Curradine Barns during the first proper heatwave of the summer. ☀️

The sun didn’t stop shining, the drinks kept flowing, everyone embraced the heat (even if the suits had other ideas), and the dancefloor absolutely delivered by the end of the night.

These are the days I love photographing. No awkward posing. No forced moments. Just real laughs, happy tears, questionable dance moves, and all the little moments in between that make a wedding feel like your wedding.

Massive congratulations to these two legends. Thanks for trusting me to tell your story.

If you’re planning a wedding and want relaxed, honest photography that captures the day as it actually felt, give me a shout.

Grace & Jordan were absolute legends from start to finish — super chill, up for anything, and bringing the energy all day. From emotional moments to a wedding breakfast entrance to Pitbull that absolutely went off… this one was special 🕺🏼🍾

Also… Grace’s custom Converse deserved their own moment 🤍👟

NETT AND ROB!

No rules. No ballroom. No perfectly polished timelines.
Just two humans, wildly in love, tucked away in the woods with their favourite people, incredible food, muddy shoes, and a spirit of adventure running through the whole day.

Inspired by travels through India — rich colours, layered textures, candlelight, shared food, music in the air, and that feeling of warmth and chaos somehow existing perfectly together. A woodland café wedding that felt less like a traditional wedding day and more like stumbling into the most beautiful hidden gathering on earth.

Coffee brewing, spices in the air, lanterns glowing beneath the trees, long tables filled with laughter, stories from the road, and people dancing like nobody was watching. The kind of atmosphere that feels collected over years of adventures together rather than ordered from a wedding brochure.

Kids running through woodland paths, chai warming cold hands, music echoing through the forest, and a dance floor that started early and refused to end.

These are the weddings I love most — soulful, relaxed, slightly untamed, and completely alive.
The kind of day that feels like travel, home, and celebration all wrapped into one. 🌿☕️✨

Love, rain, sun, smiles, homemade treats, garden games, confetti flying everywhere… and a flat tyre for me on the way home.
A day full of the good stuff — the kind of wedding where everyone properly settles in, laughs loudly, eats too much cake, and dances like they’ve known each other forever. The weather couldn’t quite make its mind up, but honestly, it just added to it all. One minute sunshine, the next rain, then straight back to golden light again.
The absolute best people, the loveliest atmosphere, and the sort of day that reminds me exactly why I love doing this job. Even with the tyre drama at the end. ✨

Historic vibes, proper country pub energy, and a day full of unreal people.
The kind of place that already feels special… then you fill it with this lot and it just hits differently.

Flowers everywhere you looked — not just details, but moments. Texture, colour, chaos (the beautiful kind).
Bride absolutely owned it, brought the vision and then some.
Groom? Cool as you like. Took it all in, no fuss, just fully there for it.

A room full of familiar faces too — past couples, old hugs, new stories.
That always means something. Proper good humans, proper good energy.

Laughter bouncing off old walls, glasses clinking, that warm buzz you can’t fake.
The kind of day that doesn’t need forcing… it just is.

And then golden hour rolled in like it knew exactly what it was doing.
Soft light, slow moments, everything just settling into something magic.
