⨠Thereās something Iāve noticed more and more over the years, and I think itās worth talking about.
Photography bookings have changed...
When I first started, many moons ago, it was completely normal for families to enquire months ahead. Newborn sessions were often booked months before baby had arrived and were planned well in advance.
Now, life moves at a completely different pace...
Weāre so used to everything being available almost instantly that sometimes we forget that some things, especially the things created especially for you, need a little more planning š¤
I will always do my very best to accommodate you. If I have a way of making a date work, I absolutely will.
But unfortunately, I canāt create extra spaces when my diary is already full.
So, if youāre thinking about booking, here are a few things Iād really recommend keeping in mindā¦
ā If you need a weekend appointment, please get in touch as early as possible. Weekend dates are limited and tend to disappear first, so leaving it until a few weeks before can make finding a date much more difficult.
ā If youāre expecting a baby and want those gorgeous, sleepy newborn photographs, donāt wait until baby arrives to enquire. Your little oneās newborn stage is around 14 days, and having your session arranged beforehand means you can relax knowing itās already taken care of š¤
ā If youāre hoping for photographs before Christmas, please donāt leave it until December to think about it! The diary fills much faster than you realise, and suddenly Christmas is around the corner and there are no spaces left.
ā Weekday availability is generally much easier to find. If you have the flexibility to book during the week, it can give you considerably more choice when it comes to dates and times.
