There’s something about photographing a family in their own home with their newborn. Documenting the little spots on the sofa where they’ve spent the first few weeks as a new family. This was baby Remy’s first home and this family are about to swap it for New York. I’m so glad we got to document these lovely moments before they go🗽

I will never not be grateful to be invited into your homes to document such a special time. What a job! 💜

I’m Sophie - in case you’re new here, hi! 👋

I live in Whitley Bay with my favourite people - my partner Liam, our chaotic three-year-old Dottie, and Marcel the hairy lurcher.

I shoot families and newborns (and weddings over ), and my whole thing is keeping it relaxed and fun. No awkward posing, no “everyone look here!” - just you, your people, and me quietly capturing the good stuff in between.

Dottie has made me very good at photographing toddlers who have absolutely no interest in being photographed, so you’re in safe hands 😂

Oh also, I’ll be using Harry songs for the foreseeable future. Sorry about that! 🪩

Right, this one’s for the m**s who are always the ones taking the photos.

When was the last time someone got one of you? Not a blurry one your little one took of the top of your head - an actual proper one, where you can see your face and everything 😄

In years to come your kids will want to see you in the photos with them, so let someone else hold the camera for a bit - it’s worth it, promise! 🤍
