Well that was a busy family weekend and our cute little grandson Ally had a great 2nd Birthday Party! 🎁

This week’s plans are shaping up nicely already with:

1. More delicious Portland Paella at the The Beehive Cafe in Portland on Friday evening. We will show you around this lovely cafe and their amazing cakes!! 🥘🧁😛

2. We also have our long awaited mini voyage onboard the last ocean worthy paddle steamer, The Waverley from Weymouth Harbour to Swanage on Sunday afternoon! We will film as much onboard as we can to share with you! ⛴️ 🌊

Let us know if you are attending either of these events or will be around the harbour on Sunday at 3pm to watch us sailway. It is an amazing sight! 🤩

We may be a little quiet over the next few days on here. It is our grandson Ally’s 2nd Birthday & we have a lot of family down this weekend.

What do YOU love about Weymouth in autumn? 🍂🎃

And just like that, the summer peak season is over again! 🥹 What an amazing few weeks it has been with hot sunny beach days, amazing Monday fireworks, bands on the beach and such a buzz in Weymouth!

As we head into September & autumn, we still have lots to look forward to here in Weymouth with Ironman, Motocross, Pirate Fest, Halloween fun, bonfire night and so much more! Follow along with us as we share what we get up to these next few months…

We had a fun afternoon at The Dog, Sausage & C***r Fest at The Springhead Sutton Poyntz

With only 1 day off work this Bank Holiday weekend for Andy (today), we have crammed in as much as we can! The dog show was paw-some, the sausages banging and the drink was cider-licious! 🐶🌭🍺

We had a busy morning of litter picking around Weymouth Harbour with Weymouth & Portland Marine Litter Project

They run a monthly community litter pick on the last Sunday of the month from 10am-12.

It was so satisfying cleaning up the harbour and also chatting with lots of locals, holiday makers and some lovely people from the US & Canada, here today on the Sky Princess cruise ship! 🛳️

Off to the Springhead next for the Dog, Sausage & C***r Festival 🐶🌭🍺

Today it was a Wafflicious Wednesday for us! 🧇 😛

During a busy morning of work, a craving occurred for the BEST waffles in Weymouth, so we just had to pop in this afternoon.

Have you tried their waffles yet???
As well as indoor and outdoor seating, did you know you can also takeaway anything on their menu or just pop in for an ice-cream or one of their amazing milkshakes! 🧋🍦

We took a booth inside and were warmly greeted by Hayden. It was so nice to have a catch up with him when it was quieter too 🫶🏻

Andy ordered a Chocolate Fudge full waffle (covered in warm brownie fudge pieces, salted caramel sauce & chocolate icecream). Heather had the Straw-nana full waffle (fresh banana & strawberries drizzled with salted caramel sauce with a side of soft whippy icecream).

As well as being beautifully presented, they tasted like sweet heaven! The waffles are so light and fluffy. They never disappoint!

If sweet is not really your thing, they do also have a few savoury options like ham & cheese. Check out all their menus in our photos to inspire you (or just make you hungry)!🤤
