While itās relevant, I want to talk about this.
Itās gone absolutely viral ā and deservedly so.
This wasnāt luck. It was a complete team effort where the end result was never guaranteed.
Iāve read that this project had been in the works for months and that some very well-known brands had the opportunity to back it, but didnāt.
This morning, I think thereās a lesson in that.
When a creative team is genuinely excited about an idea, you can feel it. That energy translates into the work. Sometimes you need to trust the people who can see something before everyone else can.
Because look at what happened here.
They stuck to their lane. They backed the idea. They executed it without major brand backing.
And now the world is watching.
Marketing can become stale when everything has to pass through the same filters, tick the same boxes and feel safe enough to guarantee a return.
But the work we remember rarely feels safe.
Sometimes itās worth listening to the creatives in the room saying, āWe should do this.ā
Iām absolutely ecstatic for everyone involved in this. I genuinely believe theyāve created a masterpiece.
Let this one be a lesson.
And congratulations to the entire team. š
