Glasses on or off for your headshots?
If you regularly wear glasses, they’re likely to be part of your image and how people recognise you (I wear glasses most days now and feel a bit exposed without them - hello eyebags!).
During a photoshoot, the studio lights can sometimes create glare or reflections in the lenses, which isn’t the best look.
So, what to do in a photoshoot? I angle the key light to the side and offset the fill light to avoid reflections.
I usually use a reflector to brighten shadows and flatter the face — but for glasses, I leave it.
