A moment for Hollie.✨
We found each other on this app like so many wonderful friendships, and she pondered on the idea of working with me for over a year…slowly building up the courage.
A couple of weeks ago we finally connected in person and did the thing!
She was nervous as hell.
BUT as we carried on with our shoot I quickly noticed her shoulders drop and her demeanour soften.
We chatted, we sat by the water, walked and giggled a lot.
I’m so proud of her! We really captured her beautiful soul this day.🙏

There was no plan going into the family session, and it quickly turned into an energetic and playful morning. Dancing, airplanes and cuddles…I’m here for it! They had such a warmth and love for each other, especially with the arrival of their new little bundle:)

Meet Sammy.
My childhood best friend from across the pond (Canada). She came to visit me in England! We wandered, we drank coffee & wine, dined out…mingled with the locals and talked about ALL of the things.
She’s also what I love to call an ‘eco warrior’.
For as long as I can remember, she’s had a passion for admiring and wanting to save this beautiful planet that we live on and she’s doing just that.
As the director of sustainability and brand for EcoSafe Zero Waste, and having a passion for soil regeneration and composting, she’s making a real difference and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
For this shoot I wanted to capture her soul…with a little bit if quirk:)

There are endless reasons why I love in-home sessions.
What an absolute gift it is to pass photos of those sweet, everyday moments down as keepsakes to our children.
Sometimes we move houses and the photographs will be tangible memories. (If you're moving soon, definitely book in a session!)
Also, the kids tend to be relaxed and very much themselves in a space that looks, smells and feels familiar to them, and bonus - you don't need to anticipate a car journey anywhere.

Newborn sessions with siblings. I just love them so much.
Maybe because they can’t be anything but honest.
I like to call it a beautiful chaos.🤭
The baby sleeps through the noises, the toddler squeezes them a wee bit too tight, and the house becomes messy within 10 minutes.
It’s perfect.

It’s the best feeling when you enter a families home and their little one remembers you.
So much so that they’re jumping up and down with excitement and genuinely happy to see you.
That was this session!

They welcomed their baby girl a couple of weeks before I arrived and she was absolutely perfect.
We hung around in the lounge and updated one another on our lives (It had been a year since our last session), Felix picked wild flowers for his girls, we played on the bed and I even got my photo take too.

It was high energy, a little all over the place and absolutely perfect.
