A surprise proposal on The Island in St Ives. 💙

J pulled off the surprise perfectly, and S’s reaction was everything.

It was SO SUNNY, but it meant the sea was the most beautiful blue.

We made the most of it with bright, colourful portraits, then some softer shots in the shade, and a good mix of romantic and fun moments too!

Beach Maternity Photo Session

Back in May, on the last ‘normal’ day before that first heatwave arrived, I met M & P for an evening maternity photoshoot on the beach.

Instead of golden light, we were greeted by sea mist! But it created the softest light and dreamiest atmosphere.

There’s something so special about maternity sessions. They’re not just about documenting a bump. They’re about capturing the anticipation, the connection, and those final weeks before everything changes. When the journey to get there hasn’t been straightforward, those moments become even more precious.

Congratulations again, M & P. I hope these photographs always take you back to how this chapter felt.

Surprise proposal on Carbis Bay Beach 💍

A perfect blue hour (after sunset) on Carbis Bay Beach last September, capturing the moment J surprised C with a beautiful proposal.

After years together and raising their children, they finally made it official, with a little (well... a lot!) of help from J’s sister, who organised everything and booked me to capture it all.

🌸Wildflowers on the beach 🌼

Not every love story belongs in a grand venue.

Maybe your dream wedding looks like saying your vows barefoot on the beach, with endless blue skies, the sound of the waves rolling in, salty sea air, and wildflowers all around you. Your favourite people by your side, and a day that feels completely, unapologetically you.

That’s exactly the feeling Beth from Beth’s Petals- Floral Design and I wanted to capture with this beach wildflower editorial here in St.Ives, Cornwall. A celebration of colourful, alternative weddings that embrace personality over tradition, and prove that simple can be just as meaningful.

☀️Golden hour in St Ives☀️

A dreamy beach family photo session in St.Ives with the loveliest family visiting from America. Golden summer evenings, barefoot on the sand, salty air, and the kind of moments that deserve more than phone selfies.

Family holiday photo sessions have become one of my favourite things to capture. Relaxed, natural photography that lets you slow down for an hour, feel the wind in your hair, the sand under your feet, and actually be present together. Everyone in the frame. These are the kinds of photos that mean more as the years pass.
