☀️Golden hour in St Ives☀️

A dreamy beach family photo session in St.Ives with the loveliest family visiting from America. Golden summer evenings, barefoot on the sand, salty air, and the kind of moments that deserve more than phone selfies.

Family holiday photo sessions have become one of my favourite things to capture. Relaxed, natural photography that lets you slow down for an hour, feel the wind in your hair, the sand under your feet, and actually be present together. Everyone in the frame. These are the kinds of photos that mean more as the years pass.

A sneak peek into the incredible day that was ‘The Lovers’ dark romance styled elopement at Scorrier House.

This was the first styled photoshoot I’ve ever put together, from concept and planning, to photography and content creation. I couldn’t have done it without the amazing team of creatives below that turned an initial idea of black wedding dresses and burgundy colour palettes into a stunning reality for our photoshoot. At home with newborn Alessandra 🤍

Sharing a few frames from this beautiful at-home session last month, celebrating the arrival of baby Alessandra.

It was such a joy to capture Georgina & Haz’s firstborn, surrounded by that first-time parent magic. Baby Alessandra was far too curious to sleep for us, but we got to photograph her beautiful eyes gazing up at us, and still plenty of newborn snuggles.

There’s something special about in-home sessions… no rushing around, no bright lights, just calm, cosy moments captured in the place where your story is already unfolding.

The beautiful Georgina and her partner, awaiting the arrival of their little girl on a soft spring evening by the sea.

This evening was such a joy to photograph—perfect golden light, quiet waves, and a serene Georgina walking barefoot along the shoreline, gently cradling her bump.

Moments like these are exactly why I’m so grateful this is my ‘job’ ☺️

By adding an extra hour to your shoot, we can explore two distinct locations - like one soft and feminine (spring flowers in bloom), and one wilder, less posed and more organic (beach and sea at sunset). Your maternity session is always tailored to reflect you.

Motherhood in full bloom
 A spring-inspired maternity session to reflect a season of change, growth, and new beginnings.

Georgina brought such a sense of calm confidence to every moment - so serene and radiant! It was really special to photograph this time as she prepares to meet her baby girl (very soon! ☺️)

Loved how perfectly coordinated the flower colours were too! We were spoilt for choice on beautiful floral backdrops, and the golden afternoon sun just made it perfect.

Based in beautiful Carbis Bay, Yvette curates a vibrant pantry filled with wholesome salads, homemade quiches, hearty lasagnes — and a showcase of Cornish creativity, featuring locally sourced produce, handmade jewellery, ceramics, and cards.

You’ll also find delicious cakes and bakes by her daughter Amber - available in-store and bespoke, made to order.

Her passion for good food and artisan craftsmanship shines through everything she touches, and photographing her in her element was pure joy.

Meet Amber, the creative force behind

Amber creates elegant wedding and celebration cakes — modern, naturally flavoured, and crafted with the finest ingredients. She also makes the most incredibly fudgy brownies, and other delicious sweet treats.

Her style is effortlessly feminine: soft, stylish, and full of thoughtful details that make every cake feel truly special.

Spending time with Amber and seeing her quiet creativity in action was such a pleasure — a real reflection of the care and artistry she brings to her work. It also helps that I got to sample some of the deliciousness!
