What a power trio they are.

Wonder if they would recognise the world we live in now?

Never forget 🌺

We remember today VE Day . When after five years of total war . Europeans were liberated by the Allied Forces . Hi**er was dead and many of his cronies on the run . The people of Europe were no longer under the threat of death , for their beliefs , religion or gender . But the cost of Victory was immense and today we remember loved ones from every walk of life . That took the Kings Shilling and proudly went to war and never returned home . Those of the same that did come home as broken shells of what they’d seen and those that simply endured those hard five years of total war .
Today we enjoy a marvellous bond between the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and the U.K. 🇬🇧. A bond unbroken since Operation Market Garden, and also in the knowledge that the Dutch paid a heavy price for their loyalty towards the boys of the British Airborne. So today we give thought and hold in our hearts and prayers……all those that paid the highest sacrifice for Victory by the laying down of their lives on the alter of sacrifice for a better world ahead . We shall remember them all …………..
