Super happy to have a new female visiting the hide last night with what we believe to be a kit from this year, its smaller and was very playful, what do you think, this years young ? it has some lovely lower bib markings for us to id in the future.
That's a confirmed 3 possibly 4 different martens visiting this hide now, our normal nightly visitor is a bigger male, hard to tell but id like to to think this was the female that was in and out regularly last month and now feels confident enough to bring its kit in to us.😊

Daniel here. You can tell because my pictures are not as good as Gareths. :( :D I spent an hour in the hide the other day. Sadly no martens, they are coming in at all times of the day right now so its hard to predict when to catch them, but plenty of other wildlife to keep me entertained. It's such a beautiful way to spend some time. Such an honour to have these species come so close.

New life at the Gruline hide!
A lot of the fallow deer are having young just now, hopefully they'll soon feel confident enough to bring them into the hide. 😊

Going through this weeks footage at our Gruline hide, we're really excited to have 4 jays visiting together! up until recently i had only had fleeting glimpses of these stunning corvids, to be able to sit in the hide and observe in such detail is fantastic 😊
