Some of you may remember us talking about a platform we’ve been building, a place where we hope to bring like minded people a little closer together.

Raia is a softer travel community built around sharing, kindness and lending a hand. It helps people find stays with hosts who have space to share, from goodwill stays and help-based stays, to fixed-price too.
At a time when life feels difficult for so many people, we really believe small seeds of kindness do matter and do make a difference, so the idea is to make travel feel more human again. To create a place where people can browse stays, save places they love, and offer a little voluntary help where it feels right. Where we can connect through trust, rather than just transactions.

Raia is also designed to be softer and fairer for hosts. For those who choose to list fixed-price stays, we don’t want to take huge slices of your income. Our aim is to cover our costs fairly, while leaving more with the people actually opening their homes, spaces and time.

So, excitingly, Raia is now launching in beta 🌿

A few lovely people have already helped test account setup, and now we are opening it gently for more people to browse, save stays and get a feel for what Raia is becoming.

Dont be alarmed that its quiet, its still small, still new, and still being shaped carefully, and if you spot anything confusing, broken or odd, please use the beta feedback buttons to report it. We’ll be keeping a close eye and sorting things as we go.

Most of all, welcome. We really hope you enjoy helping to shape Raia into a kind, useful community that we can all benefit from.
