Bexboater Photography Whatever the occasion, I’ve got you covered! Hi, I'm Bex, the photographer behind Bexboater Photography. My style is natural, fun and relaxed.

I’m a Thatcham, Berkshire photographer capturing all of life’s special moments – from families, children, maternity and babies to weddings, parties, sports, preschools and more. I've always loved photography, and always had a camera in my hand since an early age. I have taken thousands, if not millions of pics over the years, and feel that photography is a very important way of helping keep your p

recious memories fresh. Since becoming an Auntie and Mum, I have become particularly fascinated with portrait photography - capturing cherished memories forever - kids grow up so fast! I feel it is so important that we all enjoy ourselves and feel comfortable during a photo shoot, it should never be a chore. I offer affordable packages and a personable service to anyone and everyone - individuals, families, children, couples, weddings, babies, parties, maternity or even pets! I am based in Thatcham, Berkshire and have my own mobile studio equipment which I can bring to you or use at my own home. On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing my first church wedding in a long time!

Lisa and John finally tied the knot after many happy years together, and it was such a lovely day to be part of. I had the pleasure of capturing the service, followed by photographs with them, their family and friends in the church grounds.

And what a gorgeous day for it! Lovely sunshine, but with a nice little breeze to stop us all getting too hot! There were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter and just a really happy atmosphere throughout the day.

Congratulations Lisa & John – it was lovely to be there to capture your special day!

Saturday was all about the beautiful wedding of Abigail & Matt at Chequers Hotel!

It was a scorching hot day, so we spent plenty of time chasing the shade, but it was absolutely packed with fun, laughter and happy tears. From amazing magic by Clive Winterton to caterpillar cakes, flying dinosaurs, squeezy cheese and even some "fake bridesmaids"... it was a day full of love, personality and unforgettable moments!

On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Melli & Ryan's beautiful wedding at Shaw House, followed by their reception at the Mercure Hotel.

We were treated to gorgeous sunshine (with just enough breeze to keep us all cool!). The day was full of laughter, happy tears and so many special moments. Their little one was an absolute superstar too, keeping everyone smiling and laughing all day long!

After a week of on-and-off rain, we were so lucky to have bright sunshine for their outdoor ceremony! It was such a lovely day filled with laughter, happy tears, and plenty of special moments shared with family and friends.

Charlie & Sharmayne’s day was full of fun, laughter and such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I recently had this gorgeous little one in the studio and she was an absolute dream to photograph. So tiny, so sleepy, and full of those beautiful little details that change in the blink of an eye.

Newborn sessions are such a special way to capture those early days – the curled-up poses, the wispy hair, the teeny fingers and toes. They really do grow so quickly, and it’s amazing to be able to freeze this stage in time.

I’m a little behind on sharing some gorgeous sessions, so it’s time to play catch up!

These smiles are from a super fun family photoshoot won by the lovely Kelly in my competition with Eye Magazine a while back. She brought her nieces and nephews into the studio, and honestly… they absolutely smashed it! So much laughter, so much personality – the kind of session that reminds me why I love what I do.
