Yesterday I saw so many different breeds, which you don't see much of in our streets today, and I spent the day taking photos of so many of them. It was the British Vulnerable breed show at The Kennel Club of GB in Stoneleigh, and Nikon held a day there to try different lenses, cameras and capture the dogs who were all there to compete for their breed... I didn't cope too well with the slobbery dogs, and was even heaving when I edited out the slobber on my computer 🤣🤢 It was a challenging day, as lots of distractions with fencing, cars parked around the arenas, but mostly the dogs were amazing and well behaved, and we were lucky enough to have a lovely cold air conditioned room to do some studio shots in the afternoon, where the dogs came in for a cool down and to pose for us... we used static lighting and was a small area, so a bit cramped to get the shot amongst the other 9 photographers who attended, I need to get more assertive and stand my ground to get my shot too. That's work in progress.... anyway, enough waffling on, here are a few from the morning session. I have lots to get through, so hope you enjoy these :)

Tonight we tried something a bit different. It didn't work for me with the girls as Nala has been a bit off colour this week, so didn't want to play happy families, so I heard the Red Kites and got some photos of them in the tree nearby instead!! Big thanks though to Caroline Seward for the loan of her garden and pool :) The Red Kites were fab!!

Thanks to Kirsty from Newbury Doxies this couple won a free photoshoot with Anne and me, as we are jointly the Doxie walks official photographers. We booked them in and did the shoot last Friday evening. This photo is a natural shot capturing the couple and their gorgeous Dachshunds, Griffin and Penelope..and we have shared the Gallery with them which they absolutely love. Wow, what a summer we're having, and i'm not one who is complaining now i've got an A/C unit at home.... I don't think the Sunflowers are complaining either, and here are a few I took on Sunday to brighten your day, with a little cheeky shot of Luna hitching a ride!!

Starting to catch up on my photoshoots, and this type of shoot I would love to do more of, as horses were my life many years ago, and would be great to be involved behind the camera. These 2 ponies were so sweet, despite the heat and harsh sunlight, but the owner was very happy with her photos. This came about all thanks to a lovely group of Pet photographers i've met by being a member of The Guild of Photographers, and one of the lovely ladies invited us along to practice.

Another show (although brief show this time) from Mr Kingfisher in a non baited hide GG Wildlife Experiences in Goring on Friday evening... This has to be the UK's most pretty bird - in my opinion anyway...😊
