Welcome to TimeLight Photographic As the husband of a professional costumier, I have plenty of opportunities to get great shots of her work.

As historical re-enactors, we also have the chance to take shots of yet more intriguing outfits in some truly delightful locations. As a regular traveller, I want to be able to visually document my point of view and insights as I roam the world. This site is an opportunity to showcase my favourite images, whilst also exploring some before-and-after versions of the shots - directly 'out of camera' and 'post-editing' versions. I'm a recent digital darkroom convert, and still definitely in the learning phase, so the edited stuff is from late 2013 - everything before then is pretty much straight OOC. I hope you enjoy the images, and please feel free to share them - as long as you give credit where it is due.

- Day 29 - Creatures! Here are a few large, hairy and adorable Creatures who came to say hello whilst we were photographing Iz’s outfit. And a couple of our 1830s Halloween as Dr Frankenstein and his Creature Bride!

- day 27 - Animals. We do a lot of photography involving horses, occasionally birds (falcons and owls) and of course, the obligatory feline-enhanced photos and videos! We also rode at our wedding, in kit (1880s and 1815), so that counts, right?!

- Cozy Indoors - what could be cosier than sitting indoors, working with sumptuous fabric in a beautiful location? This shot was taken on our holidays in 2016, before we moved to the Exmoor area. with Prior Attire

- High Contrast. Well, this particular look contrasts quite heavily with my usual demeanor, also it is a high contrast edit. Taken before a fancy dress midsummer-nights dream-themed birthday bash - (Yesterday’s monochrome images would also work!)
