Special one-off post just for you guys as I managed to not click your pic and include on the main post 💙🧡📸 ###

✨️ Friday 5th June was the preview night of the 2026 Degree Show, and wow, what a night! 🫶✨️

The turnout was incredible, and I’m feeling so grateful for everyone who came along. 💖

A huge thank you to my family and friends for always being in my corner and coming to support me. It was also so special to see so many RNLI volunteers at the show – thank you for taking the time to come along and see the exhibition! 💙🧡

After putting so much time, energy, and heart into this project, it was really rewarding to see people connect with the work and share their thoughts. I’m feeling very lucky, very proud, and incredibly thankful. 📸🙏

And just a little reminder that tomorrow, Friday 12th June, is the final day of the Degree Show. If you haven't had a chance to visit yet, the exhibition is open from 10am–5pm in the Priestman Building, Sunderland.

I'd love for you to come along and see it.. but also to enjoy the 3 floors of creativity that makes up this incredible 2026 degree show! ✨️

✨️ Friday 5th June was the preview night of the 2026 Degree Show, and wow, what a night! 🫶✨️

The turnout was incredible, and I’m feeling so grateful for everyone who came along. 💖

A huge thank you to my family and friends for always being in my corner and coming to support me. It was also so special to see so many RNLI volunteers at the show – thank you for taking the time to come along and see the exhibition! 💙🧡

Since September, I have been building relationships with these incredible Sunderland RNLI volunteers, spending time with them to tell a small part of their story. 🧡

They are ordinary people living extraordinary lives. They have families, careers, studies, responsibilities, and commitments. They come from all walks of life and all age groups, yet when that pager sounds, everything changes. They leave behind whatever they are doing and rush to the station, united by a shared purpose: to save lives at sea. 🌊

Over the past several months, I have listened, observed, researched, photographed, and learned. I wanted to look beyond the rescue and focus on the people behind it - the volunteers whose dedication, courage, and selflessness often go unseen. 🧡

Seeing this work installed as part of my final degree show is a moment of immense pride. Not because it marks the end of my degree, but because it represents months of planning, conversations, trust-building, and countless hours spent documenting this incredible voluntary service. 💙

Photography has the power to make people stop and look, and I hope this work encourages people to do exactly that. To see the faces behind the pager. To recognise the sacrifices made, and appreciate the commitment required to answer the call, no matter the time, weather, or circumstance. 🧡

To everyone who welcomed me, trusted me, and shared their stories with me, thank you. This work would not exist without you. 💙🧡💙🧡

What a moment for Northern Daughters! 🎤💃

Absolutely incredible experience to photograph these amazing girls with their army of fans, bringing pure energy to Keel Square during part of the city’s One Big Summer celebrations. 🎉

The flash mob performance for their debut single Open Arms was something really special, bringing the whole crowd together with such a powerful atmosphere, huge smiles, unreal energy and a fantastic performance from the girls. Sunderland showed up in style! ❤️🤍

A massive thank you for having the Claire Louise Photography team capture this amazing Northern Daughters experience. Moments like this are exactly why we love what we do. 📸 🎬  ✨

Between Shouts is installed and ready for next Friday's Preview Night!! 🧡💙 It’s surreal seeing it all up... I feel really proud 🥹

After months of collaborating with incredible RNLI volunteers, countless hours editing, making the book, researching, writing essays, and completing the file (!!!), as well as problem-solving along the way, it’s so exciting to finally see everything come together as part of the 2026 Degree Show.

Preview Evening:

Exhibition Open:

📍 8th–12th June | 10am–3pm

Come and see my work alongside all the other incredibly talented photographers and exhibitors! I’m so proud to be exhibiting with such a brilliant group of people. 🫶

I can't thank my wonderful boyfriend, Mark, enough for all the support (and patience) throughout this whole process.. ❤️ You are just wonderful 🫶

I helped prep then basically watched painting get done of my exhibition space 😶‍🌫️ (Thanks Mark! 🫶😍) ### I ate lush sandwiches accompanied by non alcoholic fizz, thanks to my lovely friend 🥂😘, and enjoyed some birthday cake, thanks to my lush bestie group
& 🎂🎊🥳.. then a vino in the ☀️ with my mum, Leo and Mark.. followed by a delicious Italian meal at Vitos at Sheepfolds with my gorgeous man! 😍🎊🥳🥂🎂
