Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Burdis. I was recently asked to photograph a secret wedding at The Story Durham. The guests had no idea that when they arrived, they were actually attending a beautiful and intimate ceremony for Lauren and Darren.

I wanted to share a selection of my favourite images from the day. Such a fun and loving family, and the kids really loved the camera and had such cheeky smiles. It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with you all.

I would like to have said I have been on a hiatus, but life and laziness has just got in the way and I rarely pick up my camera now.

I don't do New Year resolutions, but I am going to make a promise to myself to pick up my camera and go out at least once a month to get back into what I used to love doing. I love taking portraits, but I also miss the landscape work I used to do.

So you should start seeing some more interaction from me, and it helps loads if people like and share my work. It lets me know that you lot out there actually enjoy looking at my images.

I am always open for critique too, if you think I can improve on something, tell me how and why. All feedback is welcome as I always want to get better and hey its nice knowing that people actually like my work and why.
