A weekend of panning. 🏁📸

Decided to really push the slower shutter speeds at Donington Park this weekend — working my way down as low as 1/80 sec for some of the BTCC action.

Definitely a lower keeper rate when you start pushing the shutter that far, but when everything lines up, the sense of speed makes it completely worth it. 🔥

Think I might have finally found my sweet spot with these!

ALL ABOARD THE FIFE ROLLERCOASTER! 🎢🏁

Who needs four wheels anyway when you can use 3… 2… 1… or, in the Caterhams' case, apparently 0?! 😂

Knockhill certainly knows how to provide some proper airborne action. Touring cars temporarily identifying as aircraft, kerbs being used as launch ramps, and the Caterhams taking things one step further and deciding that contact with the ground is entirely optional. ✈️😂

Safe to say I spent a fair amount of the weekend waiting for that perfect moment where the suspension unloads and the wheels leave the tarmac — and Knockhill absolutely delivered. 📸🔥

Welcome aboard the Fife Rollercoaster. Please keep your arms, legs and wheels inside the vehicle at all times. 🎢😂

A little something different from my usual motorsport photography… ❤️📸

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing Chris & Ann's wedding, and I'm very happy to finally be able to share a few of my favourite moments from their day.

From getting ready at home, through to the ceremony at Sunderland City Hall, a trip down to Roker seafront and finally the celebrations at the Queen Vic — it was an amazing day to capture from start to finish.

This was also a particularly special one for me as it was the first wedding I've photographed. Definitely a different challenge to having racing cars flying past me at 100+mph 😂, but an experience I thoroughly enjoyed and learned a huge amount from.

A massive thank you to Chris Metcalfe & Ann Metcalfe for trusting me to capture such an important day and for allowing me to share some of their photographs. ❤️

Tandem battles from Drift League GB at Teesside Autodrome 📸

Door to door, walls of tyre smoke and some seriously committed driving around this corner. Definitely one of my favourite sequences from the day.

From door-to-door tandems to some absolutely ridiculous amounts of tyre smoke, there was no shortage of action throughout the day! A brilliant event to photograph and definitely something a little different for the portfolio.
