EnA Photography has grown out of my, Ian Allcock, love of the local live music scene on Teesside and the wider North East. I love attending gigs and taking photo's and so combining the two seemed natural. Please take a few minutes to take a look through the photography on this page, like, comment and share, and if you think I can help your band or venue please contact me either here on on the mobile number or email address listed.

Another one of the most energetic and engaging bands in the North East at the minute are Leazes, no question, and to see them ripping up Last Train Home Festival on The Forum Music Centre stage was brilliant.

They always bring it and there is always a loyal crowd, rightly so.

Risco are always one of my fave bands to shoot and their set at Last Train Home Festival on the The Forum Music Centre stage will go down as one of the best of the day for me. Rammed from start to finish and deservedly so....

Happy Birthday again Maya Hammersley, hope you had a great day.

Hey 'Leave the gun, take the cannoli'.

Well Katie Grace was totally new to me on Saturday at Last Train Home Festival. Top drawer music and great to shoot.

Well wowzers, Saturday at Last Train Home Festival in Darlington was an amazing day of music!

My first acts to see were Tom Blackwell at The Forum Music Centre, Glad Town Ghost AKA Dale Husband at The Hippodrome and Anna Karila accompanied by Josh Atkinson Music at Hullabaloo!

Thanks so much to Sarah Wilson for the pass, to Kirsten and the Forum crew for making my job easy and to all the bands and artists doing an amazing job all day.

More to follow, if anyone wants the higher res versions please just yell.

Hey, so it’s another musical Xmas on Saturday, so lucky to have a photo pass for train home thanks to Sarah and her brilliant crew.

There’s a whole load of amazing bands and artists all day and night from Blackwell through to & The Best Boys and the venues are all great too!

Drop me a note if you’re going or playing, fancy a beer or coffee or want your set shooting. See you all Saturday.

A couple from a few years ago at South Bank in Middlesbrough. I pulled up at the river end of Smiths Dock Road and clambered over a little wooden fence and found the most gorgeous structure in the river, I am guessing coal staithes maybe but I would love to know more about them and the history.

Anyway, glad I took these shots at the time as I went back just a few weeks ago and they are no longer accessible which is a total shame.

What a great couple of hours out with images tonight for our regular photography type thing.

Sometimes it's music, studio, portraits etc but tonight it was just 'f**k it' lets head out and shoot something! We ended up at Majuba Road Redcar and then Saltburn.

My edits are just what I was seeing in my head, no Photoshop work at all, prints available, drop me a message. Thanks all xx

And so the 'Story of the Shot'. This is the wedding of Victoria and Lee which I shot in 2020 at Crook Hall in Durham. It was literally three weeks from the first lockdown and it's one of the most fave wedding images I've taken and produced.

So this was quite obviously immediately after the ceremony 'I do' thingy and I think it's just the emotion of it, the confetti they have in their hair the very obvious love they have for each other which just jumps off the page/screen.

Yes of course I delivered the standard images, but this little edit just felt different and special too and it remains one of my fave wedding images...
