To our wonderful clients, friends, and supporters,
This is a post that Elizabeth and I never expected to write.
Over the last few months, we've had to step away from Laycock Photography to focus on our family during a difficult time. It meant pressing pause on a business we've poured our hearts into for so many years, and that was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make.
Family has always been at the heart of everything we do, both in our own lives and in the photographs we create. So, when our family needed us, we knew where we had to be.
Throughout this time, so many of you have checked in, sent kind messages, waited patiently, and simply understood. Those acts of kindness have meant an awful lot to us. We've felt incredibly lucky to have such thoughtful people supporting our little business.
We're so happy to say that we're ready to return.
Picking up our cameras again feels incredibly special. We can't wait to fill the studio with laughter and celebrate your families once more. Over the next couple of months, we'll be relaunching with a series of exciting announcements, leading up to our much-loved Christmas photo sessions.
Today feels especially meaningful because we're sharing the very first portrait created in our studio in over a year. Meet Pixie and Luna, a beautiful mother and daughter, sitting together on one of our floral backdrops. They did an incredible job during their session, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to mark our return. We hope you'll love this image as much as we do.
Thank you for your patience, your compassion, and for sticking with us. Your support has helped us more than words can express.
We're looking forward to welcoming you back through our studio doors and creating beautiful memories together once again.
With love and gratitude,
Elizabeth & Sam
