There’s a special kind of joy in photographing dogs at every stage.

The tiny bundle of chaos, ears flying, paws everywhere, still working out how to operate their own legs.

The grown-up dog who knows the routine, knows where the treat tin lives, and knows exactly how to give you that look.

Every dog brings their own character to a photoshoot, whether they are full-speed across a field, sitting proudly beside their best mate, or pausing for half a second before the next adventure begins.

That is the beauty of dog photography. It gives you a chapter to look back on, exactly as they are right now.

A handsome labrador, a soft spring backdrop, and that wonderfully serious “I know I’m gorgeous” expression.

There’s something lovely about photographing dogs when they are relaxed, settled and just being themselves. No forced poses, no fuss, just a quiet moment that shows their character.

This is what I aim for in every dog photography session, portraits that feel natural, full of personality, and true to your dog.
