For over a decade, I’ve been incredibly proud to have my newborn photography displayed in NHS maternity wards across Southampton, Hampshire and Dorset.

As a specialist newborn photographer with 17 years of experience, a qualified Nursery Nurse, and a qualified Maternity Nurse, supporting new families has always been at the heart of everything I do.

Having worked with newborn babies for over 30 years, I understand just how precious those first days are. My aim has always been to create beautiful, timeless portraits while providing a calm, safe and reassuring experience for new parents.

To know that my work has welcomed thousands of families during their maternity journey through NHS wards over the past 10+ years is something I never take for granted.

Happy Saturday! Another 5k in the bag. I’ve promised myself to fit three 5k runs in a week around everything else 😂 Any other mums that run here? Any tips?
Entered my first run event last week after about 15 years of no running 🙈 enjoyed it and hopefully now getting the running bug back … hopefully 😆

Newborn photography is best captured during those precious first few weeks when your baby is still tiny, sleepy and curled up just as they were in the womb. Because babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month to ensure every family has a space reserved.

How wonderful. What a different this makes 🩶 I remember this amazing ward and the staff when my son spent time there after his heart surgery 🩶

Those tiny toes won’t stay tiny for long… 💕

One of my favourite images to capture during a newborn session is just how incredibly small your baby’s feet are in those first few weeks.

Before you know it, they’ll be taking their first steps, running through the garden and heading off to school. These little details change so quickly, which is why I love preserving them for you to look back on for years to come.
