Reactive‑dog life isn’t for the faint‑hearted 😅

We’re always so guilty of only showing the good bits on social media, but the reality is that my life 100% revolves around my dogs and that taking Deedee for a walk isn’t just as simple as throwing a ball and remembering to carry poo bags.

If you’ve ever hidden behind a wheelie bin or rerouted your entire day because your dog said ‘absolutely not’… Welcome to the club! We’re thriving. Mostly 😂

And yes, my whole experience with owning and loving a reactive (and muzzled dog) inspired this account and my self-published book, Muzzled and Misunderstood. It shows our spicy dogs for the beautiful souls that they are, and tells their stories. 🔗 Link in my bio for the book! 📖

A muzzle doesn’t take anything away from a dog who’s supported and understood.

The right muzzle, for the right dog, with the right training… It can change that dog’s life for the better. Suddenly the world is bigger, AND safer.

Muzzles don’t ruin lives. They can improve them, tenfold 👏

Every friendship group has its characters… 😅

The muzzled pup crew is no different! We’ve got the drama queens, the chaos goblins, the overthinkers, and the ones just here for snacks.

Behind the muzzle is a unique dog, with thoughts, feelings and their own bold personality. Sometimes we just have to look a little deeper to really see them 🥰

People assume muzzled dogs are limited… Meanwhile they’re out here making besties, trusting their trainers, and cuddling their tiny human siblings 💕

Because the muzzle helps them feel safe enough to try.

Safe enough to learn.
Safe enough to trust.
Safe enough to love.

And those of us with muzzled dogs know that they love HARD 🥰
