Sadly, my photography journey is now coming to an end (for now) as I focus on an endeavour closest to my heart — watercolour painting.

Juggling both passions while mothering 3 children and maintaining a home is impossible so, I have decided to give one up.

I have decided to finally launch my page and my small business as I have received overwhelming support from my friends and family! Thank you 🫶🏼

I handcraft customised/personalised watercolour painting as gifts, cards, or a framable piece of art to hang on your walls. I have been thinking long and hard about this endeavour and have decided to launch it today, 1st of May, as May is a very special month for me — the day I became a mother all because of God’s grace.

I like documenting real moments — like a video but in stills. I love capturing raw emotions, the one where no one is looking but, when captured in frames it screams authenticity. I like to express art in photographs and extract outcomes in a way that pleases my clients and satisfies my artistic soul.

Reminiscing the wedding shoot I’ve done last year.

I mostly do birthday events but wedding photography is just magical and I was thrilled to be asked to shoot this particular wedding event alongside my friend ✨

My friend and I were blessed to have Charlie and Amelia as our first ever client and we were blessed to have been given the opportunity to capture their very special event.

Wedding photography is a high pressure job on the day and the days to come (editing wise), no wonder most professional photographers charge a lot!

Most people just see photographers taking photos and wonder “why charge so much for a 3-4 hour shoot?” But, after shooting an event, photographers spend countless hours editing, they pay for insurances and taxes, plus they buy or maintain their gadgets to polish their craft even more. So, photography, is costly — it takes so much of the photographer’s time.

This stress is one of the stress I am happy to go through because I love capturing moments and I love portraits! I enjoy taking photos of genuine emotions and staged ones. Being at an event where the atmosphere is full of love, laughter, joyful tears, and happiness makes me the happiest! And the profound joy it brings when I am able to capture these moments are priceless 🤍
