We spent about 40 minutes observing the leopard, which had clearly noticed the warthog family. The leopard was mazing to watch in approach with short stealth movements until, as the warthogs had come closer, all hell let loose for a few seconds. No catch this time for the leopard - possibly slowed by a limp, a reprieve for mother and baby warthogs.

Not the best images but OK for a first attempt - it was fast!

A Martial Eagle in Kenya, hanging out not too far from the track we were and nearly whizzed past it. Stunning bird.

This Eagle was in a dead tree near us in Lake Navaisha. I was able to snap it swooping down for a little catch. Just a snack I imagine.

A breeding pair of African fish eagles - the female on the left is a little larger. They pair for life and are usually seen not too far apart, often perched on different trees they regularly call out to each other. My first spot of an African fish eagle was from hearing the calling and scanning distant trees.
