Summer holidays and 35mm film are the perfect combination ☀️🎞️

These beautiful memories were captured by during her trip to Orlando, Florida, on Kodak Gold 200. From the sunshine and palm trees to those little in-between moments that make travelling special, film photography has a way of making every frame feel full of nostalgia.

There’s something magical about taking a film camera on holiday. You slow down, choose your moments carefully, and when your film comes back from the lab, you get to relive your entire trip all over again. Kodak Gold 200 is one of our favourite films for travel photography, with its warm colours and classic summer feel.

Well... in J&A's bag, quite a lot. 😅

RED vs BLUE: A Film Photography Colour Hunt 📸

At J&A we're always looking for new ways to stay creative with film photography, and this time, Jimmy and Diana took on a colour hunt challenge.

During the wonderful photo walk, Diana set out to photograph everything RED, while Jimmy focused on shades of BLUE.

What started as a simple challenge quickly became a reminder of why we love shooting film. Slowing down, observing your surroundings, and paying attention to the little details can completely change the way you see the world. From unexpected pops of colour to everyday moments you might normally walk past, film photography has a way of helping you see things differently.

A huge thank you to Stomp for hosting such a lovely photo walk. We had such a great time exploring, shooting, and connecting with fellow photographers along the way.

The results were a lovely collection of images that celebrate colour, creativity, and the beauty in everyday details.

We genuinely love keeping analogue photography ALIVE!

At our Sheffield film lab, we process Colour, Black & White, C41, and ECN-2 film, alongside high-resolution scanning and fresh film stock for photographers across the UK.
